Implementasi dan Problematika Kurikulum 2013 pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Jurusan Keagamaan di MAN Rejoso Jombang

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi Kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran jurusan Ilmu-ilmu Keagamaan PAI di MAN Rejoso; (2) untuk mendeskripsikan problematika implementasi Kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran PAI jurusan Ilmu-ilmu Keagamaan di MAN Rejoso. Untuk mendeskripsikan sebab munculnya problematika dan solusi dari problematika implementasi Kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran PAI jurusan Ilmu-ilmu Keagamaan di MAN Rejoso. Penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode diskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku yang diamati, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan analisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verivikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) implementasi Kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran PAI di MAN Rejoso berjalan dengan baik walaupun masih banyak kendala, namun kendala tersebut sedikit demi sedikit bisa diatasi; (2) problematika implementasi Kurikulum 2013 memang tidak sedikit baik problem internal maupun eksternal, hal ini terjadi karena masih minimnya informasi yang diperoleh tentang implementasi Kurikulum 2013 secara utuh.This study aims to: (1) describe the implementation of the Curriculum 2013 for Religious subjects at the Islamic Education Department of MAN Rejoso; (2) describe the problematic implementation of the Curriculum 2013 for Religious subjects at the Islamic Education Department of MAN Rejoso. This research describes the problems and solutions for the problems in the implementation of Curriculum 2013 for Religious subjects at the Islamic Education Department of MAN Rejoso. The current research apllied qualitative approach with descriptive methods, that is observing subjects’ written or spoken words and behavior. The data collection was done by conducting interviews, observation, data reduction analysis, and data verification. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that: (1) the implementation of the curriculum 2013 on the Islamic Education subjects in MAN Rejoso has been going well although there are still many obstacles. These obstacles, however, can be overcome little by little; (2) the problems, both internal and external problems, in implementing the Curriculum 2013 were not insignificant because of the lack of information on the implementation of the Curriculum 2013.

Efektifitas Implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (Studi tentang Pengembangan pada MTs Negeri Keras Diwek Jombang)

Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan merupakan suatu yang sangat urgen untuk dilaksanakan, di mana hal ini merupakan suatu proses yang terintegrasi dengan proses peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia dan pengembangan program madrasah. Peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui pendidikan telah banyak dilakukan oleh pemerintah dalam hal ini Kementrian Pendidikan Nasional dan Kementrian Agama antara lain melalui pengembangan kurikulum dan sistem evaluasi, perbaikan sarana pendidikan, pengembangan dan pengadaan materi ajar, pelatihan bagi guru dan tenaga kependidikan lainnya serta pembinaan manajemen madrasah. Dengan mengambil latar penelitian di MTs Negeri Keras Diwek Jombang, penulis berupaya untuk melihat secara objektif melalui research secara mendalam bagaimana implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah, apakah tujuan yang akan dicapai dalam penerapan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah dalam mengembangkan madrasah, bagaimana efektifitas Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah dalam mengembangkan madrasah dan apakah fakor pendukung dan penghambat serta solusinya dalam penerapan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah dalam mengembangkan madrasah.Improving the quality of education is a very urgent thing to be implemented, which is a process that is integrated with the process of improving the quality of human resources and the development of madrasah program. Improving the quality of human resources through education has been carried out by the government, particularly the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Religious Affairs by developing the curriculum and evaluation system, improving educational facilities, developing and designing teaching materials, conducting training for teachers and other education personnels, and guiding the development madrasa. By conducting a research at MTs. Keras Diwek Jombang, the authors attempted to look objectively through an in-depth research at how the implementation of school-based management is, what objectives to be achieved in the implementation of school-based management to develop the madrasah are, how effective school-based management to develop madrasa is, and what supporting and inhibiting factors and their solutions in the implementation of school-based management to develop the madrasah are.

Manajemen Pendidikan Karakter Melalui Kegiatan Bussines Day di Sekolah Dasar Plus Darul 'Ulum Jombang

Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) bagaimanakah perencanaan pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan Business Day di SD Plus Darul Ulum;(2) bagaimanakah pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan Business Day di SD Plus Darul Ulum;(3) bagaimanakah evaluasi pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan Business Day di SD Plus Darul Ulum. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, pengamatan berpartisipasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian dari tesis ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pada tahap perencanaan berpedoman pada komponen visi misi, tujuan dan rencana kerja sekolah; (2) pada tataran pelaksanaannya, pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan Business Day diintegrasikan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran, dan pembiasaan terprogram; (3) evaluasi dilaksanakan secara menyeluruh yaitu mencakup aspek kognitif, psikomotor dan afektif dengan langkah-langkah mengembangkan indikator dari nilai-nilai yang ditetapkan, menyusun berbagai instrumen penilaian, melakukan pencatatan terhadap pencapaian indikator, melakukan analisis hasil setiap akhir kegiatan dan melakukan tindak lanjut.The focus of this study is to describe: (1) the character building plan through the Business Day activity at SD Plus Darul Ulum; (2) the implementation of character building through the Business Day activity in SD Plus Darul Ulum; (3) and the evaluation of character education through the Business Day activity at SD Plus Darul Ulum. This study applied a qualitative approach within a case study design. Data collection was done by using in-depth interviews, observation, participating in the activity, and documentation. The techniques of data analysis include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Pengaruh TQM, Kepemimpinan dan Disiplin Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja dan Kinerja Pegawai pada Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Pengaruh TQM, kepemimpinan, kedisiplinan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja pegawai di Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji: (1) pengaruh TQM terhadap kepuasan kerja; (2) pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja (3) pengaruh kedisiplinan terhadap kepuasan kerja; (4) pengaruh TQM terhadap kinerja pegawai; (5) pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai; (6) pengaruh kedisiplinan terhadap kinerja pegawai; (7) pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum Jombang. Responden penelitian ini adalah 91 pegawai dari Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang. Alat penelitian yang digunakan adalah SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) TQM memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja di Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang; (2) kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja staf Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang; (3) kedisiplinan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja staf Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang; (4) TQM memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang; (5) kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang; (6) kedisiplinan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang; (7) kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang.This research discussed about The influence of TQM, leadership, discipline on job satisfaction and employee performance at University of Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum Jombang. The aim is to test: (1) the influence of TQM on job satisfaction; (2) the influence of leadership on job satisfaction; (3) the influence of discipline on job satisfaction; (4) the influence of TQM on employee performance; (5) the influence of leadership on employee performance; (6) the influence of discipline on employee performance; (7) the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance University of Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum Jombang. The research respondents were 91 officer of University of Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum Jombang. The research tool used was SPSS. Problematika Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia

Sejalan dengan perkembangan zaman timbul permasalahan-permasalahan pendidikan yang kompleks. Memasuki masa era globalisasi, dunia pendidikan di Indonesia menjadi heboh. Kehebohan tersebut bukan disebabkan oleh kehebatan mutu pendidikan nasional tetapi lebih banyak disebabkan karena kesadaran akan bahaya keterbelakangan pendidikan di Indonesia. Berbagai persoalan pendidikan muncul dan berkembang seperti rendahnya kualitas pendidikan secara umum, masalah anggaran pendidikan, tidak meratanya kesempatan pendidikan, dan mahalnya biaya pendidikan. Dan lebih khusus lagi, problematika juga terjadi pada profesi keguruan yang merupakan ujung tombak dunia pendidikan. Beberapa permasalahan yang teridentifikasi antara lain rendahnya kualitas guru, tidak profesional dalam melaksanakan tugas keguruan, kurangnya penghargaan masyarakat terhadap profesi guru, dan tingkat kesejahteraan guru yang relatif masih rendah. Makalah ini berusaha mengidentifikasi dan memahami permasalahan-permasalahan pendidikan Islam di era globalisasi. Perlu pula dikemukakan bahwa permasalahan pendidikan yang diuraikan dalam makalah ini terbatas pada permasalahan pendidikan formal.Along with the time, complicated educational problems emerge. Entering the era of globalization, the world of education has raised people’s interest. The interest is not in the successfulness of the quality of the national education, rather it is bacause of the awareness of the dangers of backwardness of education in Indonesia. Various educational issues arise and evolve such as: the poor quality of education in general, budgetting problems in education, unequal educational opportunities, and the high cost of education. More specifically, the problems also occur in the teaching profession that serve as the stakeholder of education. Some emerging problems include the low quality of teachers, unprofessional performance in carrying out the tasks of teacher, lack of public recognition of the teaching profession, and teachers' welfare level which is still relatively low. This paper seeks to identify and understand the problems of Islamic education in the era of globalization. It should also be noted that the problems of education described in this paper are limited to the issues in formal education.

Perkembangan Pendidikan Meunasah dan Dayah di Aceh

Meunasah dan Dayah dalam masa perjalanannya tumbuh seiring perkembangan kerajaan-kerajaan Islam di Aceh yang memiliki peran strategis dalam pembentukan kebudayaan Islam di wilayah kekuasaan mereka masing-masing. Ini membuktikan bahwa kerajaan-kerajaan Melayu baik di Malaka (Malaysia) maupun di Aceh (Nangroe Aceh Darussalam) memiliki jaringan arkeologi sejarah kebudayaan dan peradaban yang terbentuk berdasarkan motivasi agama dan menjadikan tradisi Melayu sebagai identitas pemersatu mereka. Kehadiran lembaga-lembaga klasik Islam tersebut di atas terus mengalami perluasan secara fungsional, pergeseran sistem karena tuntutan perkembangan zaman, pun juga tuntutan sosial kehidupan masyarakat yang saat ini tidak lagi membutuhkan pemecahan problematika kehidupan melalui ilmu-ilmu agama semata, namun juga integrasi antara agama, ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Memodernisasikan Meunasah dan Dayah sebagai upaya menyelamatkan institusi Islam tua ini agar tidak menjadi “cagar budaya”, tentu bisa belajar dari pengalaman model-model modernisasi madrasah berdasarkan pengalaman Mesir (Masjid-Madrasah-Universitas al-Azhar), Turki (Maktab-Sekolah Remaja-Sekolah perempuan-Sekolah Imam-Khatib), dan Saudi Arabia (Madrasah-Sekolah Hasyimiyah).Meunasah and Dayah in their development along with Islamic kingdoms in Aceh have a strategic role in the formation of Islamic culture in their own territories. This proves that the Malay kingdoms either in Malacca (Malaysia) as well as in Aceh (NAD) had a network of archaeological history of culture and civilization formed based on religious motivation and made the Malay tradition as their unifying identity. The existence of the classical Islamic institutions mentioned above continue to functionally expand and the system shifted because of the demands of the current time. It was also because of the social demands of the society that is no longer in need of solving the problems of life through a mere religious science, but also the integration of religion, science and Technology. To modernize Meunasah and Dayah in an effort to save this old Islamic institutions from becoming "cultural heritage", could certainly be learned from the experience of modernization models of madrasa in Egypt (Mosque-Madrasa-al Azhar University), Turkey (Maktab- Teenagers Schools-Girls Schools-Imam Schools-Khatib), and Saudi Arabia (Madrasah-Hashimiyah schools).

Perubahan Lingkungan Pendidikan dan Cara Mengantisipasinya (Suatu Kajian Filosofis dalam Pendidikan Islam)

Lingkungan yang nyaman dan mendukung terselenggaranya suatu pendidikan amat dibutuhkan dan turut berpengaruh terhadap pencapaian tujuan pendidikan yang diinginkan. Demikian pula dalam sistem pendidikan Islam, lingkungan harus diciptakan sedemikian rupa sesuai dengan karakteristik pendidikan Islam itu sendiri. Untuk mengetahui lebih jelas tentang apa dan bagaimana hakikat lingkungan pendidikan dalam Islam, maka perlu dilakukan kajian yang komprehensif dan mendalam tentang lingkungan tersebut dalam perspektif filsafat pendidikan Islam. Filsafat Pendidikan Islam itu merupakan suatu kajian secara filosofis mengenai masalah yang terdapat dalam kegiatan pendidikan yang didasarkan pada al-Quran dan hadis sebagai sumber primer, dan pendapat para ahli, khususnya para filosof Muslim, sebagai sumber sekunder. Istilah “al-qaryah” yang diulang dalam al-Quran sebanyak 52 kali yang dihubungkan dengan tingkah laku penduduknya. Sebagian ada yang dihubungkan dengan penduduknya yang berbuat durhaka lalu mendapat siksa dari Allah (Q.S. 4: 72; 7: 4; 17: 16; 27: 34) sebagian dihubungkan pula dengan penduduknya yang berbuat baik sehingga menimbulkan suasana yang aman dan damai (16: 112) dan sebagian lain dihubungkan dengan tempat tinggal para nabi (Q.S. 27: 56; 7: 88; 6: 92). Semua ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan berperan penting sebagai tempat kegiatan bagi manusia, termasuk kegiatan pendidikan Islam. Untuk mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas, maka ketiga lembaga atau lingkungan pendidikan, yaitu lingkungan keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat perlu bekerja sama secara harmonis.A comfortable environment which supports the organisation of education is highly demanded as it influence the desired achievement of the educational goals. Similarly, in the Islamic education system, the environment must be created in such a manner in accordance with the characteristics of Islamic education itself. To find out more about what and how the nature of Islamic education in the environment, there should be a comprehensive and in-depth study of the environment in the perspective of Islamic education philosophy. The philosophy of Islamic education is a philosophical study of the issues contained in educational activities based on the Qur’an and the Hadith as primary sources, and the opinions of the Islamic scholars, in particular the Muslim philosophers, as secondary sources. The term "al-Qaryah" which is repeated in the Qur'an as many as 52 times is associated with the behavior of its inhabitants. Some words are associated with inhabitants who did ungodly things and received the punishment from Allah (Q.S. 4: 72; 7: 4; 17: 16; 27: 34). Some deal with citizens who did good things so that it created an atmosphere of security and peace (Q.S. 16: 112). Others are associated with the residences of the prophets (Q.S. 27: 56; 7: 88; 6: 92). All of this suggests that the environment plays an important role as a place for human activities, including the activities of Islamic education. To achieve quality education, the three institutions or the educational environment, namely the family, school and community need to work together in harmony.

Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas model kepemimpinan kiai di pesantren dan implikasinya terhadap perkembangan pesantren tersebut. Dengan adanya kekuatan kiai, pesantren dapat menjadi model institusi pendidikan yang khas dan memiliki keunikan tersendiri dalam mewadahi tanggung jawab untuk mendidik santri menguasai ilmu keagamaan dan sekaligus pengembangan masyarakat. Disebabkan keberadaan kiai, pesantren dapat menjadi institusi yang memiliki keunggulan, baik pada sisi keilmuan dan juga transmisi serta internalisasi moralitasnya. Keadaan pesantren yang memiliki kiai yang tidak kharismatik, misalnya, menjadikan pesantren kehilangan kepercayaan masyarakat termasuk kepercayaan alumni itu sendiri. Sehingga, alumni dan masyarakat tidak mau membantu pesantren baik dari segi pengelolaan maupun pendanaan, serta masyarakat menjadi ragu untuk menyerahkan pendidikan anaknya di lingkungan pesantren. Salah satu pesantren yang disinggung itu adalah Pondok Pesantren Al-Ichsan Brangkal Sooko Mojokerto. Berangkat dari itu, penelitian ini berupaya menjawab tiga pertanyaan mendasar: (1) bagaimana kepemimpinan kiai di Pondok Pesantren Al-Ichsan? (2) bagaimana pengembangan Pondok Pesantren Al-Ichsan? (3) bagaimana hubungan antara kepemimpinan kiai dengan perkembangan pondok pesantren Al-Ichsan?Abstract: This article discusses leadership models of the kiais (leaders of pesantrens or Muslim societies) in pesantrens (Islamic boarding schools) and its implications for the development of the pesantrens. By the power of kiais, pesantrens can be a model of unique educational institution that has its own uniqueness to accommodate a responsibility for santris’ education. They have to master Islamic sciences and serving societies at the same time. Due to the presence of kiais, schools can become an institution that has many advantages, both on the scientific side, and also the transmission and internalization of morality. The pesantrens which have kiais who are not charismatic, for example, make the pesantrens lose their public trust, including trust of the alumni of the pesantrens themselves. Thus, alumni and societies do not want to help the pesantrens in term of both management and funding, as well as the societies became hesitant to hand over their children’s education in the pesantrens. One of the pesantrens mentioned above is Pondok Pesantren Al-Ichsan Brangkal Sooko Mojokerto. This study means to answer three fundamental questions: (1) how is the leadership of the Kiais in Pondok Pesantren Al-Ichsan? (2) how is the development of Pondok Pesantren Al-Ichsan? (3) how is the relevancy between the Kiais’ leadership and the development of Pondok Pesantren Al-Ichsan.

Abstrak: Kewirausahaan (entrepreneurship) adalah kemampuan kreatif dan inovatif dalam menciptakan nilai tambah di pasar melalui proses pengelolaan sumber daya dengan cara-cara baru dan berbeda. Di Indonesia, kewirausahaan dipelajari baru terbatas pada beberapa sekolah atau perguruan tinggi tertentu saja. Program yang dilakukan oleh Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Darul ‘Ulum Jombang ditambah dengan adanya bantuan penguatan entrepreneurs centre PTKI tahun 2015 dari Direktorat Pendidikan Tinggi Islam Kementerian Agama RI dapat menjadi batu loncatan bagi mahasiswa Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Darul ‘Ulum Jombang yang ingin membuka usaha pada saat lulus kuliah nanti. Penelitian ini merupakan SWOT analasis tentang minat mahasiswa peserta entrepreneursip mahasiswa Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Darul ‘Ulum Jombang setelah lulus kuliah terhadap entrepreneurship. Teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah sebanyak 63.48% perempuan dan 66.05% laki-laki ingin membuka usaha setelah lulus, artinya minat menjadi wirausaha lebih besar pada mahasiswa laki-laki. Mahasiswa yang ingin bekerja setelah lulus adalah 24.17% perempuan dan 26.12% laki-laki. Untuk mahasiswa yang ingin menjadi Pegawai Negri Sipil setelah lulus hampir berimbang, yaitu 5.19% perempuan dan 5.23% laki-laki. Sedangkan yang menginginkan menjadi guru lebih banyak terjadi pada mahasiswa perempuan, yaitu 7.16% dan hanya 2.14% dari mahasiswa laki-laki. Yang paling menarik dalam temuan penelitian ini adalah didapatnya 0.46% mahasiswa laki-laki yang ingin menjadi ABRI pada saat lulus kuliah, melihat latar belakang data yang di dapat mahasiswa yang ingin jadi ABRI dilatarbelakangi oleh orangtuanya yang memang ABRI.Abstrak: Entrepreneurship is the ability to be creative and innovative in creating added value in the market through the process of managing resources in new dan different ways. In Indonesia, a new study of entrepreneurship is limited to some particular schools or colleges course. The program conducted by The Faculty of Islamic Studies of The University of Darul ‘Ulum Jombang coupled with the help of strengthening entrepreneurs center of PTKI 2015 from the Directorate of Islamic Higher Education Ministry of Religious Affairs may be bridging for students of Faculty of Islamic Studies 0of The University of Darul ‘Ulum Jombang that wants to open a business at the college later. This research is a SWOT analysis on student interest of the entrepreneursip participants of The Faculty of Islamic Studies of The University of Darul ‘Ulum Jombang after graduating towards entrepreneurship. The technique of collecting data is through observations, interviews, questionnaires and documentations. Based on this research, there are 63.48% of women and 66.05% of men who would like to open a business after graduation, being an entrepreneur means greater interest in male students. Students who want to work after graduation are 24.17% of women and 26.12% of men. For students who want to be a Civil Affairs Officer after graduating almost balanced: 5.23% of women and men. Wanting to be a teacher is more common in female students: 7.16%, and only 2.14% of male students. The most interesting in these findings is that 0.46% of male students who want to become the ABRI (Indonesian Armed Forces) at the time of graduating from college. The students who want to be ABRI have parents who work as ABRI.

Abstrak: Situasi krisis spiritual dan moral pelajar pasca-reformasi menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi moral dan spiritual yang diproses melalui sekolah dengan berbagai pengembangannya belum menghasilkan kecerdasan moral dan kecerdasan spiritual yang diharapkan. Kondisi ini diduga berasal dari verbalisasi budaya yang berkembang dari proses pembelajaran moral dan spiritual yang hanya bersifat tekstual murni. Fenomena dan fakta tersebut menyimpulkan pentingnya pendidikan karakter secara intensif sebagai esensi dari kecerdasan moral dan pembentukan spiritual. Oleh karena itu, kecerdasan moral dan kecerdasan spiritual harus tumbuh dan berkembang melalui pendidikan karakter aplikatif. Pada tahap awal, pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di tingkat sekolah perlu dilakukan melalui pengkondisian moral yang kemudian berlanjut dengan pelatihan moral. Desain pendidikan karakter sebagaimana di atas berfungsi sebagai alat untuk pengembangan moral peserta didik yang sistemik dengan kompetensi kecerdasan dan karakter.Abstract: Spiritual and moral crisis situation of post-reform students demonstrate competency moral and spiritual competence processed through schooling stool output immature development of moral intelligence and spiritual intelligence of students. This condition is allegedly originated from the growing culture verbalistic of moral and spiritual learning process merely textual. Phenomenon and the fact, led many to conclude the importance of the character education intensively as the essence of moral intelligence and spiritual formation. Therefore, moral intelligence and spiritual intelligence must be consciously learned and grown through the applicative character education. In the early stages, the implementation of character education at the level of schooling needs to be done through conditioning moral then continues with moral training. Educational design a character like above serves as a tool for the development of systemic moral eguip learners with the competencies of intelligence and character.

Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas pendidikan karakter dalam perspektif Ki Hadjar Dewantara yang merupakan Bapak Pendidikan Nasional, dan kaitannya dengan pendidikan Islam. Di dalam pembangunan karakter yang dipentingkan adalah keikhlasan, kejujuran, jiwa kemanusiaan yang tinggi, sesuainya kata dengan perbuatan, prestasi kerja, kedisiplinan, jiwa dedikasi dan selalu berorientasi kepada hari depan dan pembaharuan. Pembinaan karakter akhlaq-ul kari>mah harus ditanamkan kepada seluruh lapisan dan tingkatan masyarakat, mulai dari tingkat atas sampai ke lapisan bawah. Lapisan atas itu kemudian memberikan teladan yang baik pada masyarakat dan rakyatnya. Tetapi manakala para pemimpin memberikan contoh yang buruk, maka akan berlaku pepatah yang menyatakan, “kalau guru kencing berdiri, murid akan kencing berlari; andai kata guru kencing berdiri, niscaya murid akan kencing menari-nari.” Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah tersebut diatas, tulisan ini bermaksud mencari jawaban dari pertanyaan-pertanyaan mendasar berikut: (1) bagaimana pengertian pendidikan karakter Ki Hadjar Dewantara? (2) bagaimana pengertian pendidikan agama? (3) bagaimana kaitan pendidikan karakter Ki Hadjar Dewantara dengan pendidikan Islam? Uraian dari jawaban yang dimaksud akan menunjukkan secara gamblang bahwa gagasan Ki Hadjar Dewantara tentang pendidikan karakter seiring dan sejalan dengan pendidikan Islam.Abstrak: This article discusses character education in the perspective of Ki Hadjar Dewantara who is Father of National Education, and its relation to Islamic education. What is necessary for constructing the character is sincerity, honesty, spirit of humanity, suitability of words and deeds, work performance, discipline, dedication and spirit. Character building of akhl?q-ul kar?mah must be imparted to all layers and levels of society, from top to bottom layer. Then, the top layer gives good examples to the society and its people. When the leaders have bad examples, so there is a strong and deep words that state, “if teachers pee with standing up, students will piss with running; supposing pee standing teachers, pupils will undoubtedly pee dance.” Based on the problems mentioned above, this paper intends to find answers to the following fundamental questions: (1) how is the notion of character education of Ki Hadjar Dewantara? (2) how is the notion of religious education? (3) how is the relation between Ki Hadjar Dewantara’s character education and Islamic education? Description of the answers which are intended to indicate clearly that the Ki Hadjar Dewantara idea about character education along and in line with Islamic education.

Abstrak: Artikel ini berupaya menangkap tawaran komplementer hadis Nabi yang berbunyi, “idh? wussida al-amr il? ghayri ahli-hi fa-intazir al-s?‘ah” (jika urusan dikuasakan kepada bukan-ahlinya maka tunggulah hari kiamat) untuk salah satu gagasan manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang sudah tidak asing lagi, yaitu “the right man on the right job” (orang yang tepat ditempatkan pada pekerjaan yang tepat), khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Sekilas, kedua ungkapan tersebut tampak sama, namun jika ditelaah lebih mendalam sebenarnya yang pertama bisa melengkapi dan menyempurnakan yang kedua. Walaupun hadis tersebut disampaikan sekitar 14 abad yang lalu, namun sikap apatis terhadap gagasan manajerial yang terkandung di dalamnya sebaiknya dikesampingkan dahulu, mengingat Rasulullah, sang penutur hadis, adalah seorang “manajer” bahkan leader di berbagai bidang, termasuk “pendidikan”. Dengan terlebih dahulu memastikan otentisitas dan validitas hadis Nabi tersebut—dengan mengaplikasikan teori-teori penelitian hadis konvensional, di sini akan diungkap sisi komplementer hadis “idh? wussida al-amr il? ghayri ahli-hi fa-intazir al-s?‘ah” untuk gagasan “the right man on the right job”. Asal hadis Nabi tidak dipandang secara kaku dan tekstual, tawaran komplementernya terhadap konsep-konsep dan gagasan-gagasan manajerial sebenarnya tidak patut dikesampingkan, apalagi dilupakan.Abstract: This article attempts to capture a complementary offer of Prophetic had?th, which says, “idh? wussida al-amr ila ghayri ahli-hi fa-intazir al-s?‘ah” (if cases given to the non-experts then wait for the doomsday) for one of the human resource management idea, which is already familiar, namely “the right man on the right job,” especially in the context of Islamic education. At first glance, those two words seem have the same mean, but when examined more deeply the first one can complement and enhance the latter. Although the had?th is delivered about 14 centuries ago, but apathy toward the managerial ideas contained in it should be ruled out, because the Prophet Muhammad—narrator of the had?th—is a “manager” and even a leader in many fields, including the “education.” Firstly, verifying the authenticity and validity of the had?th must be conducted. By applying the theories of conventional research of had?th, the complementary side of the had?th that says, “idh? wussida ila al-amr ghayri ahli-hi fa-intazir al-s?‘ah,” for the idea that says, “the right man on the right job,” will be revealed here. As long as the Prophet’s had?th is not viewed as rigid and textual, complementary offer to the concepts and ideas of managerial actually not be dismissed and forgotten.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan penerapan manajemen reward dan punishment pada Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang, serta dampak penerapan reward dan punishment tersebut. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menjelaskan sistem reward dan punishment dan penerapan serta dampaknya terhadap tingkat kedisiplinan karyawan di Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang. Metode kualitatif-deskriptif digunakan untuk pengumpulan data serta penggambaran data secara ilmiah. Sumber data penelitian ini terdiri dari dua jenis yaitu data primer ialah hasil wawancara tentang sistem reward dan punishment serta aplikasinya di Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang dan data sekunder ialah rekapitulasi kehadiran karyawan Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang. Simpulan penelitian menyatakan bahwa Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang memberikan bonus bulanan yang besarnya berbeda-beda untuk setiap karyawan yang disesuaikan dengan tingkat kehadirannya dalam rekam finger print yang telah disediakan untuk memantau kedisiplinan karyawan dari sisi kehadiran. Penegakan hukum di Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang telah dilaksanakan oleh pimpinan baik hukuman preventif maupun hukuman represif. Setelah dikaji, ditemukan bahwa jenis reward dan punishment yang diberlakukan mampu mempertahankan tingkat kehadiran staff diatas 90% setiap bulannya namun hanya 80% tingkat kehadiran dosen. Sedangkan pada tahun pertama ditigkatkannya jenis reward yang diberikan ditemukan peningkatan kehadiran karyawan namun menurun pada tahun kedua diberlakukannya reward yang sama.Abstrak: This study deals with the application of management reward and punishment in the University Of High Pesantren Of Darul ‘Ulum (Unipdu) Jombang, as well as the impacts of the implementation of reward and punishment. The purpose of this research is to describe the system of reward and punishment, as well as its implementation and its impact on the level of discipline of employees at Unipdu Jombang. The qualitative-descriptive method used for data collection as well as depictions of scientific data. The data sources of this research consisted of two types: primary data and secondary data. Primary data are result of interviews about reward and punishment system and its application in the Unipdu Jombang, and secondary data are recapitulation of the presence of employees of the Unipdu Jombang. The conclusions of this study show that Unipdu Jombang provides monthly bonuses which amount varies for each employee that is tailored to the level of its presence in the finger print records that have been provided to monitor the discipline of employees in term of attendance. Law enforcement at Unipdu Jombang has been carried out by the heads of both punishment preventive and repressive punishment. After review, it was found that the type of reward and punishment is able of maintain staff attendance rate above 90% every month, but only 80% attendance rate lecturers. While in the first year kind of reward given the increase found increased attendance, but declined in both the implementation of the same reward.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran IPA model inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi sains calon guru MI. Pengembangan perangkat diujicobakan di kelas PGMI semester 5 Unipdu Jombang tahun ajaran 2015/2016 bulan September-Desember 2015 dengan desain percobaan one-group-pretest-postest design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif-kuantitaif-kualitatif dan uji statistik parametrik. Temuan hasil penelitian adalah: (1) perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berkategori valid; (2) kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik dan aktivitas peserta didik sesuai dengan tahap-tahap pada model inkuiri terbimbing; dan (3) kefektifan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik terlihat dari n-gain dengan kategori tinggi dan peningkatan penguasaan keterampilan literasi sains peserta didik terlihat dari n-gain dengan kategori tinggi dan respons peserta didik terhadap perangkat dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sangat positif. Disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi sains calon guru MI.Abstract: The purpose of this ressearch is to evaluate the effectiveness science learning through guided inquiry model to improve science literacy skill of student of Islamic primary school teachers. The development of learning material was tested in class student of Islamic primary school teachers 5th semester Unipdu Jombang in academic year 2015/2016 since September-December 2015 with One group pretest-postest design. The data collection used observation method, test and quetionnaries. The data analysis techniqeus used descriptive analysis of quantitaive, qualitative and statistic parametric. The result of this research are: (1) learning material developed has a valid category; (2) the practicality of learning material in terms of a good category in feasibility of lesson plans and the students activities in accordance with steps of guided inquiry model; and (3) the learning material effectiveness in terms of improving student learning achievement seen from the n-gain score with high category and improving science literacy skill of student by getting the n gain score with high category and the student responds toward material and implementation of learning are very positive. It’s conclusion that the learning material through guided inquiry model are valid, practical, and effective to try science literacy skill of student of Islamic primary school teachers.

Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan manajemen personalia sekolah di salah satu sekolah menengah atas terkemuka di Jombang, yaitu SMA Darul Ulum 2 BPPT Jombang yang berada di lingkungan Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum. SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT Jombang adalah salah satu sekolah yang relevan dengan persoalan manajemen personalia. Dengan latar belakang pesantren, maka kurikulum yang diterapkan di SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT tentu tidak lepas dari warna-warni dunia pesantren. Ini bisa dianggap sebagai pengembangan kurikulum nasional khususnya pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Dua warna yang berbeda namun bisa disejajarkan bersama inilah yang menjadi ciri khas yang unik dan bisa dibilang tidak terdapat pada sekolah lain. Dari latar belakang tersebut peneliti bermaksud untuk melakukan sebuah kajian dan penelitian yang terkait dengan bagaimana manajemen personalia yang ada di SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT di Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang Jawa Timur Indonesia.Abstract: This article discusses implementation of school personnel management in one of the best high schools in Jombang, namely SMA Darul Ulum 2 BTTP Jombang located inside the Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang. SMA Darul Ulum 2 BTTP Jombang is one of the schools that are relevant to the issue of personnel management. Because of it’s pesantren (Islamic boarding school) background, the curriculum applied in SMA Darul Ulum 2 BPPT Jombang is not separated from the pesantren world. This can be considered as a national curriculum development, especially on the subjects of Islamic education. Two different colors can be lumped together. It is the characteristic of the SMA Darul Ulum 2 BTTP Jombang that may not be found in other reguler schools. Thus, the researcher intend to conduct research related to how is the implementation of personnel management at SMA Darul Ulum 2 BPPT Jombang located inside Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang, East Java, Indonesia.

Perguruan tinggi saat ini menjadi kebutuhan pokok masyarakat dalam pendidikan, namun tidak banyak perguruan tinggi yang bisa memberi pendidikan plus bagi mahasiswanya. Perguruan tinggi dalam pesantren banyak dilirik masyarakat, namun keraguan masyarakat akan perguruan tinggi dalam pesantren masih menghantui benak mereka. Dengan pertanyaan apakah perguruan tinggi dalam pesantren mampu memberi pelayanan yang baik kepada masyarakat sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan bisakah memberi nilai-nilai keislaman sebagai ruh dari pesantren itu sendiri, penelitian ini dilakukan, Penelitian lapangan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, observasi dan interview. Untuk menuju kepada kesimpulan yang diharapkan, penulis menjelaskan landasan teori yang berkenaan dengan konsep inovasi manajemen perguruan tinggi dalam pesantren serta bagaimana implementasinya, kemudian dipadukan dengan hasil data yang diperoleh untuk merumuskan kesimpulan yang akurat. Dalam penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum (Unipdu) telah melakuan inovasi dan mengimplementasikan manajemen perguruan tinggi secara umum. Secara umum Unipdu menjadi perguruan tinggi alternatif masyarakat dengan indikator mahasiswa setiap tahunnya semakin meningkat dan output-nya banyak berkiprah ditengah-tengah masyarakat.Abstract: The college is currently one of the main needs in education, but not many universities can provide proper education for students. Higher education in the pesantren (Islamic boarding school) is often ogled by the society, but they are often still in doubt of colleges quality in the pesantren. Set out from the question of whether higher education at the pesantren is able to provide good service to the public in accordance with society needs, and able to provide the values of Islam as pesantren spirit itself, this field research conducted by qualitative methods is necessary. To collect data, the researcher uses documentation, observation and interviews. To achieve the expected conclusion, the researcher describes the theoretical basis of the concept of innovation management in the pesantren and colleges as well as it’s implementation, then combined with the results of the data obtained in order to achieve an accurate conclusion. In this study, the researcher concluded that the High Pesantren University of Darul Ulum (Unipdu) has been innovating and applying the college management. Unipdu into college alternatives characterized by an increased number of students annually. In addition, the graduates of Unipdu also active in the society.

The Competence of PAI Teacher.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan tentang hubungan antara hasil penilaian kinerja guru dengan kompetensi guru PAI tingkat SLTP/MTs di Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan atau tidak antara kedua variabel tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan uji analisis statistik korelasi product moment. Dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel, yaitu hasil penilaian kinerja guru (variabel X) dan kompetensi guru PAI (variabel Y). Adapun data penelitian diperoleh dari dokumentasi data , interview dan penyebaran angket dengan bentuk tertutup. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa variabel X tergolong baik, dengan hasil perhitungan sebesar 79 %. Sedangkan untuk variabel Y juga tergolong baik, dengan perolehan prosentase sebesar 85%. Dari hasil analisis statistik korelasi product moment didapatkan hasil rxy=0,98 untuk taraf kesalahan ditetapkan 5% dan N=24, maka r tabel=0,40. Dari hasil tersebut didapatkan data bahwa r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara hasil penilaian kinerja guru dengan kompetensi guru PAI tingkat SLTP/MTs di pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang.Abstract: It’s field research that discusses the connection between teacher performance appraisal results and the competence of PAI (Islamic lessons) teachers in MTs (junior high school) located in Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang. The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of a connection between two variables. This quantitative research uses statistical analysis on product moment correlation test. This research consisted of two variables, namely the assessment of teacher performance (variable X) and the competence of PAI teachers (variable Y). The data obtained from documentation, interviews and questionnaires with a closed form. The results of this research is that the variable X is quite good: 79%. The Y is also quite good, with the acquisition of the percentage of 85%. The results of statistical analysis of the results obtained product moment correlation r xy = 0.98 for the error rate set at 5%, and N = 24, then the tables r = 0.40. The results obtained from the data that r count larger than r table, so Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant connection between teacher performance assessment results and the competence of PAI teachers of MTs at Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang.

Abstrak: Salah satu peran yang dituntut untuk dimainkan oleh guru sebagai pendidik di sekolah adalah peran orang tua, mengingat guru memang adalah orang tua kedua di sekolah. Setidaknya karena itulah dalam sistem pendidikan modern terdapat unsur kompetensi afektif yang harus ada pada diri guru profesional. Guru tidak hanya sekadar mentransfer pengetahuan dari dirinya kepada para peserta didik kemudian bersikap ‘lepas tangan.’ Ini tentu jauh dari idealisme guru profesional. Jauh-jauh hari Rasulullah dalam satu hadis yang berbunyi “aku bagi kalian laksana ayah” telah memberi teladan baik (uswah hasanah) tentang bagaimana guru harus berperan sebagai orang tua dalam setiap proses pendidikan dan pengajaran. Dengan metode deskriptif-analitis serta pendekatan ilmu hadis dan ilmu pendidikan, di sini penulis bermaksud menelusuri otentisitas dan validitas hadis “aku bagi kalian laksana ayah,” mengekspos pemahaman hadis “aku bagi kalian laksana ayah” sebagaimana terdokumentasikan dalam literatur-literatur syarah hadis, dan mengidentifikasi relevansi antara hadis “aku bagi kalian laksana ayah” dan sistem pendidikan modern. Selanjutnya penulis akan membuktikan bahwa peran guru sebagai orang tua kedua peserta didik di sekolah mempunyai dasar yang otentik dan valid sekaligus spesifik dalam hadis Nabi.Abstract: One of the roles needed to be played by teachers as educators at schools is the role of parents, because indeed teachers are the parents of students at schools. At least that’s why there is an element of affective competencies that must exist in the professional teachers. Teachers don’t just transfer knowledge to students and then leave them alone. It’s certainly far from the ideals of professional teachers. In the 7th century the Prophet in a had?th that says “I’m for you like a father” gave a good example (uswah hasanah) about how teachers should act as parents in every process of education and teaching. Using the descriptive-analytic method and the science of h}ad?th and science of education approach, the Author intends to explore the authenticity and validity of the h}ad?th “I’am to you like a father,” exposing understanding of the tradition of “I’m to you like a father,” as documented in the literature of sharh had?th, and identify the relevance between the h}ad?th “I’am to you like a father” and the modern education system. Furthermore, the Authors will prove that the teachers role as second parents at school has an authentic, valid and specific base in the had?th of the Prophet.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh informasi mengenai kepemimpinan Kiai di Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang dan inovasinya dalam mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan di bawah naungan system pendidikan pesantren. Studi ini bersifat eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan harapan dapat memberi gambaran tentang pola kepemimpinan yang dibangun di pondok pesantren Darul Ulum, serta upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh para kiainya dalam mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui literatur dan wawancara dengan para kiai dan orang-orang yang yang terkait dengan objek penelitian serta pengamatan langsung. Sedangkan analisis data dipergunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dalam menjalankan kepemimpinannya Kiai Muh. As’ad Umar, objek utama penelitian ini, telah mengimplementasikan prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan dan manajerial modern. Dalam menyelasaikan persoalan kepesantrenan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan yang rasional. Pengembangan lembaga pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren ini disesuaikan dengan tuntutan zaman dan kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap pendidikan. Tipologi kepemimpinan yang dikembagkan oleh Kiai As’ad adalah rational-collective-managerial.Abstract: This study aimed to obtain information about the leadership of Kiai in Pondok Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) Darul Ulum Jombang and his innovation in developing educational institutions under the auspices of pesantren system. This study uses qualitative approach and tries to give an idea of leadership that was built in the Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum, as well as the efforts made by the kiais of pesantren in developing educational institutions. The data in this study were obtained through literatures and interviews with the kiais and the people associated with the object of study, and also through direct observation. The data analysis used in this study is descriptive and qualitative method. The results show that Kiai Muh. As’ad Umar has implemented the principles of leadership and managerial style. In solve problems of pesantren, Kiai As’ad used rational approach. The development of educational institutions in the pesantren is tailored to the demands of the times and the needs of the educational society. The leadership typology developed by Kiai As’ad is rational-collective-managerial.

Abstrak: Dalam sejarah hidupnya, praktik pemikiran inklusif-sosial Kiai Sholeh sangat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal. Pertama, atas perintah ayahanda dengan pesan seperti berikut: “sak temene dek pasar, dek masjid, dek dalan, kabeh iku dulurmu (sesungguhnya baik di pasar, di masjid, maupun di jalanan, di seluruh tempat itu ada saudaramu).” Kedua, penerapan teori Abraham, yakni mencontoh perilaku ayahanda KH M Bahruddin Kalam (almarhum) dan juga perilaku kakek KH M Kalam (almarhum). Ketiga, praktik dari rukun Tarekat Naqshabandiyah pada poin kelima dan keenam, yakni “ambugusi kabeh konco, cilik gede, lanang wadon, enom tuo, lan ambagusi kabeh makhluk (bergaul secara baik dengan semua teman, baik kecil maupun besar, laki-laki maupun perempuan, muda maupun tua, dan bergaul secara baik dengan semua makhluk).” Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada praktik pemikiran inklusif-sosial KH M Sholeh Bahruddin dengan model studi kasus, pendekatan yang dipakai adalah expose facto. Data diambil melalui observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa praktik pemikiran inklusif-sosial KH.. M. Sholeh Bahruddin sebenarnya mempertemukan misi perintah masing-masing agama (Islam, Kristen, Katolik, Budha dan Konghucu) untuk membangun perdamaian, keamanan dan memelihara kasih sayang bersama-sama dan meminimalisir terjadinya konflik agama.Abstract: In the history of his life, the practice of inclusive social thought by Kiai Sholeh greatly influenced by several things. First, on the orders of his father with the following message: “In the markets, in the mosques, as well as on the streets, all over the places there are your brothers.” Secondly, the application of Abraham’s theory, which was practiced by KH M Bahruddin Kalam, the father (deceased) of Kiai Sholeh, as well as KH M Kalam, the grandfather (deceased) of Kiai Sholeh. Third, the practice of the Naqshabandi pillars that say: “being good with all friends, both small and great, both men and women, young and old, and being good with all creatures). This study focuses on the practice of inclusive social thought of KH M Sholeh Bahruddin, and the approach used in this study is expose-facto. The data retrieved through observation, interviews and documentation. The study concluded that the practice of inclusive social thought of KH M Sholeh Bahruddin actually tries to unite each mission commanded by religions (Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism and Confucianism) that establish peace and security, as well as maintain affection together and minimize religious conflicts.

Abstrak: Multikulturalisme dalam hal ini bukan hanya sebuah wacana namun sebuah ideologi yang harus diperjuangkan, karena dibutuhkan sebagai landasan bagi tegaknya demokrasi, HAM, dan kesejahteraan hidup masyarakat. Multikulturalisme bukan sebuah ideologi yang berdiri sendiri terpisah dari ideologi-ideologi lainnya. Multikulturalisme membutuhkan seperangkat konsep dalam bentuk bangunan konsep yang dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan pemahaman dan pengembangan dalam konteks kehidupan bermasyarakat. Untuk dapat memahami multikulturalisme diperlukan landasan pengetahuan berupa bangunan konsep yang relevan dan mendukung keberadaan serta fungsinya dalam kehidupan manusia. Bangunan konsep ini harus dikomunikasikan antar para ahli yang mempunyai perhatian ilmiah yang sama tentang multikulturalisme sehinga terdapat kesamaan pemahaman dan saling mendukung dalam memperjuangkannya. Berbagai konsep yang relevan dengan multikulturalisme antara lain adalah, demokrasi, keadilan dan hukum, nilai-nilai budaya dan etos, kebersamaan dalam perbedaan yang sederajat, sukubangsa, kesukubangsaan, kebudayaan suku bangsa, keyakinan keagamaan, ungkapan-ungkapan budaya, domain privat dan publik, HAM, hak budaya komuniti, dan konsep-konsep lain yang relevan.Abstract: Multiculturalism in this case is not just a discourse but an ideology that must be fought, because it is needed as a foundation for democracy, human rights and the welfare of society. Multiculturalism is not an ideology that is independent from other ideologies. Multiculturalism requires a set of concepts in the form of building a concept that can be used as a reference for understanding and development in the context of social life. To understand multiculturalism, someone needs a foundation of knowledge in the form of building concepts that are relevant and supportive to the existence and function of the human life. The building concept is to be communicated between the experts who have the same scientific concern about multiculturalism, thus there is a common understanding and mutual support in the struggle. Various concepts that are relevant to the multiculturalism include democracy, justice and law, cultural values and ethos, unity in diversity, equal ethnic, ethnicity, culture, religious beliefs, expressions of culture, domain private and public, human rights, cultural rights of community, and other concepts that are relevant.

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang efektivitas komunikasi organisasi pimpinan dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 45 responden karyawan Univesitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum Jombang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas komunikasi organisasi pimpinan berpengaruh terhadap kinerjakaryawan sebesar 39,3 % dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja sebesar 38,9 %. Hal ini mendukung teori bahwa semakin efektif komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh pimpinan dan kepuasan kerja maka semakin meningkat kinerja karyawan. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi pertimbangan pimpinan dalam membuat kebijakan dan keputusan terkait kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan.The research study examined the effectiveness of communication in organizational leadhership and job satisfaction on employee performance. 45 employees of University of Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum Jombang were respondents. Data analysis applied simple linear regression analysis. The result of this research show that the effectiveness of communication lead organization affects the performance of employees by 39% and job satisfaction affects the employee performance of 38, 9%. This supports the theory than the more effective leadhership communication done and job satisfaction then further improve the performance of employees. The practical implications of this study are expected to be considered leaders in making policies and decisions related to job satisfaction and employee performance.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan KTSP Berkarakter dan pengembangan pendidikan karakter dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif (descriptive research). Metode penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Untuk menguji keabsahan data digunakan metode triangulasi. Analisisnya menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: KTSP disesuaikan dengan amanat pemerintah yang dilandasi oleh undang-undang dan peraturan pemerintah. Peran Kepala Sekolah sebagai pemberi keputusan terhadap pemberlakuan KTSP Berkarakter dan perumusan KTSP di MAN 7 Jombang dengan strategi sosialisasi dan mengadakan workshop. Implementasi KTSP Berkarakter oleh guru dalam pembelajaran relatif maksimal, dilihat dari penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Terdapat peningkatan Prestasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya KTSP Berkarakter dan Pengembangan Pendidikan Karakter. Segi kognitif diketahui dari hasil prestasi yang meningkat. Psikomotor diketahui dari mulai beraninya siswa berbicara dan mengutarakan pendapat dan mendemonstrasikannya. Untuk afektif dapat diketahui dari mulai berubahnya sikap siswa seperti halnya cara mereka menghormati guru, berkata dengan guru dan teman.This study aims to determine the application of KTSP with Character and the development of character education in improving student achievement. This is a descriptive research. The research methods are interview, observation and documentation. To test the validity of the data, I used the triangulation method. To analyze the data, I use data reduction methods, data presentation methods and conclusion methods. The results of this study show: KTSP is adjusted to the government’s mandate based on the laws and regulations of the government. The Principal as a decision maker for the implementation of KTSP with Character in MAN 7 Jombang implements socialization strategy and organizes a workshop. The implementation of KTSP with Character by teachers in learning is relatively maximal, seen from the use of varied learning methods. There is an increase in student achievement after the application of KTSP with Character and Development Character Education. The cognitive aspects are known from the results of increased achievement. The psychomotor aspects are known from the fact that the students dare to talk, express and demonstrate opinions well. The affective aspects are known from the fact that the students cange their attitudes as well as how they respect their teachers and friends.

Artikel ini membahas pengasuhan anak yatim dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam. Ada dua pertanyaan penting: (1) apa maksud pengasuhan anak yatim itu? (2) bagaimana pola asuh anak yatim dalam pendidikan Islam? Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) pengasuhan anak yatim yaitu proses perbuatan mengasuh, menjaga, dan membimbing yang dilakukan oleh orang dewasa, sebagai upaya membentuk kepribadian yang sempurna (k?mil); (2) Pola asuh anak yatim memiliki dua bentuk, yaitu: pertama, bentuk keluarga, di mana keluarga tertentu mengangkat anak yatim untuk dijadikan anak asuh; kedua, bentuk panti asuhan atau asrama yang biasanya dikelola oleh yayasan tertentu.This article discusses the care of orphans in the perspective of Islamic education. There are two important questions: (1) what is an orphan care? (2) how is the pattern of orphan care in Islamic education? This study concludes that: (1) upbringing of orphans is the process of parenting, guarding and guiding by adults, in an attempt to form a perfect personality (k?mil); (2) The pattern of foster care of orphans has two forms, namely: first, the form of the family, in which the particular family appoints the orphan to be a foster child; second, the form of an orphanage or dormitory that is usually managed by a particular foundation.

Artikel ini mengkaji ideologi dan politik pendidikan perspektif peradaban Islam dan Barat. Tujuan kajian ini adalah pemetaan karakteristik masing-masing dan tentunya penulis melakukan penilaian-penilaian sekaligus juga mencoba menghadirkan salah satu studi kasus mengenai tema ini. Artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa kajian mengenai ideologi ternyata tidak lepas dari kajian worldview (pandangan dunia). Worldview juga menyangkut persoalan umum tidak hanya dunia fisik tapi juga metafisis. Kajian worldview dapat mengetahui hakikat sebuah ideologi suatu bangsa. Ideologi lebih khusus terkait pikiran yang mempengaruhi dan mendorong tindakan sosial dan politik. Jelas bahwa, ketika peradaban Islam dan Barat dikaji melalui worldview maka terlihat perbedaan antara keduanya. Hal ini berimplikasi pada konsep ideologi keduanya yang mempengaruhi konsep ilmu dan praktik pendidikan. Sudah barang tentu hal ini merupakan konsekuensi logis dari sebuah bangunan peradaban. Dan terlihat jelas muatan dan pertarungan bahkan dominasi suatu worldview dan ideologi serta praktik politik pendidikan Islam dalam konteks pendidikan di Indonesia.This article examines the ideology and politics of educational perspectives of Islamic and Western civilization. The purpose of this study is to mapping the characteristics of each. Here I try to present one case on this theme. This article shows that the study of ideology can not separated from the worldview study. The worldview study also concerns the general problems of not only the physical world but also the metaphysical one. The worldview study can know the essence of an ideology of a nation. Ideologies are more specifically related thoughts that influence and encourage social and political action. It is clear that when Islamic and Western civilizations are studied through the worldview, there is a difference between the two. This implies both the concept of ideology that influences the concept of science and practice of education. Of course this is a logical consequence of a civilization. And clearly visible content and battle and even dominance of a worldview, ideology and political practice of Islamic education in the context of education in Indonesia.

Daya beda soal adalah kemampuan suatu soal untuk membedakan antara siswa yang pandai (berkemampuan tinggi) dengan siswa yang kurang pintar (berkemampuan rendah). Angka yang menunjukkan besarnya daya beda disebut indeks diskriminasi, yang mana berkisar antara 0,00 sampai 1,00. Bilangan yang menunjukkan sukar dan mudahnya sesuatu soal disebut indeks kesukaran (difficulty index). Besarnya indeks kesukaran antara 0,00 sampai dengan 1,0. Indeks kesukaran ini menunjukkan taraf kesukaran soal. Soal dengan indeks kesukaran 0,0 menunjukkan bahwa soal itu terlalu sukar, sebaliknya indeks 1,0 menunjukkan bahwa soalnya terlalu mudah. Validitas ramalan (predictive validity) merupakan suatu tes yang diharapkan mampu meramalkan keberhasilan studi para calon mahasiswa dalam mengikuti program pendidikan di suatu perguruan tinggi pada masa-masa yang akan datang. Adapun yang menjadi permasalahan di sini adalah bagaimana cara yang dapat ditempuh agar kita dapat sampai pada kesimpulan bahwa suatu tes telah memiliki validitas ramalan? Analisis soal sesungguhnya bertujuan untuk mengadakan identifikasi soal-soal yang baik, kurang baik, dan soal yang jelek. Dengan analisis soal dapat diperoleh informasi tentang kejelekan sebuah soal dan “petunjuk” untuk mengadakan perbaikan dalam pembelajaran. Kualitas tes dan butir soal sangat ditentukan oleh: (1) validitas, (2) reliabilitas, (3) objektivitas, (4) praktikabilitas, (5) daya pembeda, (6) taraf atau derajad kesukaran, (7) efektivitas pilihan, dan (8) efisiensi.What is meant here is the ability of the question to distinguish between clever students and not-clever students. Figures indicating the magnitude of discriminating ability are called discriminative indices, which range from 0.00 to 1.00. Numbers that indicate difficult and easy questions are called difficulty indexes. The magnitude of the index of difficulty between 0.00 to 1.0. This difficult index indicates the difficulty level of the question. Questions with a .07 difficult index suggest that the question is too difficult, otherwise index 1.0 indicates that the question is too easy. Predictive validity is a test that is expected to predict the success of the study of students in following the education program in college in the future. As for the problem here is how do we get to the conclusion that a test has had the validity of the prediction? Question analysis aims to identify good and bad questions. The analysis of the questions obtained informations about the badness of questions and “guidance” to make improvements in learning. The quality of tests and questions is largely determined by: (1) validity, (2) reliability, (3) objectivity, (4) practice, (5) distinguishing ability, (6) level or degree of difficulty, (7) effective option (8) efficiency.

Madrasasah adalah salah satu wadah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang dikembangkan dan dituntut menawarkan program-programnya secara cerdas dan bermutu berdasarkan tuntutan zaman dan globalisasi yang semakin terbuka, sehingga keberadaan madrasah dapat menjadi fungsional dalam menjawab realitas keseharian, baik dalam konteks mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan khususnya bidang agama, menciptakan lapangan kerja atau dalam upaya membina sikap hidup yang kritis dinamis dan mandiri. Agak disesalkan, sistem pendidikan madrasah terbelit aktivitas rutin yang kurang cermat, ditandai dengan praktek pendidikan formal yang kurang menumbuhkan kreativitas, inovasi dan tanggung jawab, bahkan cenderung mananamkan sifat ketergantungan. Sedangkan kemandirian, kepekaan dan kepedulian sosial peserta didik kurang digali.Madrasah is one of the best places to improve the quality of education that is developed and demanded to offer good programs based on the development of modern times and globalization, so the existence of madrasah has a real function in facing the challenges of modern times, both in the context of science, technology and religion; can also create jobs and build a critical and independent attitude. Somewhat regrettably, the educational system of madrasah is tarnished by poorly routine activities, such as formal education practices that do not develop creativity, innovation and responsibility, and even tend to develop a dependency character. Independence, sensitivity and social awareness of the students are not well developed.

Konsep multikulturalisme menjadi suatu kebutuhan yang tepat untuk menjawab kekhawatiran intoleransi, seperti yang sudah diterapkan oleh K.H. M. Sholeh Bahrudin, pendiri dan pengasuh Pondok Pesantren Ngalah Pasuruan. Beliau menerapkan Islam dan multikulturalisme di Pondok Pesantren yang ajaranya dapat diserap oleh santri serta masyarakat di kabupaten Pasuruan khususnya. Fokus penelitian yang digali adalah tentang praktik pluralisme di Pondok Pesantren Ngalah Pasuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa K.H. M. Sholeh Bahrudin konsisten dalam memperjuangkan ajaran dan sikap pluralisme di Pondok Pesantren Ngalah. Pertama, dibuktikan dengan tingginya praktik toleransi umat beragama di tengah-tengah Pondok Pesantren Ngalah. Kedua, Pondok Pesantren Ngalah teguh dalam menjalin kerukunan umat beragama. Secara spesifik, keterlibatan Kiai Sholeh dalam membangun kerukunan umat beragama di kabupaten Pasuruan ini, menjadi bukti secara nyata dan harus dilanjutkan secara estafet oleh para santri.The concept of multiculturalism becomes an appropriate need to address intolerance concerns, as K.H. M. Sholeh Bahrudin—founder and caretaker of the Pondok Pesantren Ngalah Pasuruan—did. He implements Islam and multiculturalism in Pondok Pesantren Ngalah where his teachings can be absorbed by santris and the social community in Pasuruan. This research aims to explor the practices of pluralism in Pondok Pesantren Ngalah Pasuruan. Here I use phenomenology approach. The results show that K.H. M. Sholeh Bahrudin is consistent in practicing the teachings and attitudes of pluralism in Pondok Pesantren Ngalah. First, evidenced by the high practice of religious tolerance in the middle of Pondok Pesantren Ngalah. Second, Pondok Pesantren Ngalah always establishes religious harmony. Specifically, the involvement of Kiai Sholeh in establishing religious harmony in Pasuruan becomes a real evidence and must be continued by the santris.

It is carried out by means of making a strategic plan of work in developing madrasah to improve competitiveness, good administration and giving authority and responsibility to educators in accordance with the prevailing rules, the application of teacher discipline, educational staff and students, improving the quality of human resources (teachers and educational personnel), increasing the motivation of educators and educational staff, establishing good relationships with local communities, involving local communities in madrasah activities and applying student-based management. This study aims: to formulate the definition of educational leadership; know the leadership of education at Madrasah Aliyah Kampar Timur; know the strategy of education leadership in Madrasah Aliyah Kampar Timur in an effort to improve competitiveness.

SMK Pesantren: Sebuah Penelusuran Akar Ideologi Pendidikan

This article discusses about SMK Pesantren with a focus on the search of it’s educational ideology. As the perspective, this article uses the theory of educational ideology from Giroux and Aronowitz (conservative, liberal and critical), as well as Freire’s consciousness theory (magical, naive, and critical). Based on the background that SMK and pesantren, epistemologically, depart from different, and even contradictive, ideological ideals. Being seen from the ideological theory initiated by Giorux and Aronowitz, pesantren education can be included into conservative and critical categories, while vocational education is more appropriate to be included in the liberal category. As seen from the Freire consciousness theory, pesantren education can uniquely combine magical and critical awareness, while vocational education departs from naive consciousness. Could educational institutions depart from the critical ideology as well as the liberals simultaneously? Could a naive consciousness be coupled with a critical awareness of the same entity? This article tries to answer these questions with the main purpose of SMK Pesantren is not mutually disagree between the two entities that build it, namely SMK and pesantren.

The study of this study attempts to reveal the achievement motivation, which is a genuine effort from a person to achieve a goal, whether he likes it or not likes to try to make it to be liked. With the motivation can also be an encouragement for students to play an active role in the learning process, so that students who have high motivation then can easily capture the material presented by the teacher, thus will affect the achievement in learning. Motivation is every activity undertaken by someone who is driven by a power from within a person, and a strong motivation to make someone able to work extra hard to achieve goals. Students who do not have the motivation to learn hard to do learning activities. This research is fruitful, that the study; the varying socioeconomic status of parents affects the students' learning motivation differently. This shows a significant influence between the socioeconomic status of parents and achievement motivation on student achievement.

There are many religious activities among the villagers of Mayangan, such as the reading of the Qur’?n at mosques held once a month. Generally, it's done on Thursday before Friday Legi night and is followed by teens from different educational backgrounds. The purpose of this study is to describe the differences between youth education backgrounds and the capablity to read al-Qur’?n in Murong village. This type of research is quantitative. The research instrument used is documentation, observation, questionnaire and interview. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive method. The population of this study were teenagers in Murong village as many as 150 individuals with a sample of 30% of the population, ie 150 individuals with sampling technique using proportional random sampling. The conclusion of the study is that the capability to read al-Qur’?n = 18,011 + 0,412 for adolescents who have educational background. That is, the educational background is worth 0 (teenagers who do not have educational background), then the reading capability of al-Qur’?n ranges from 18,011.

This article discusses the influence of the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system and compensation for teacher performance in SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT Jombang. The purpose of this research is: to know the influence of SMM 9001:2008 implementation to the teacher performance; to know the influence of the compensation for teacher performance; to find out the influence of the SMM ISO 9001:2008 implementation and the compensation simultaneously on the teacher performance. This is a correlational research with an expost facto approach. The population of this study are all teachers in SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT Jombang that amounted to 92 people. The methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires. Based on the research conducted, it was concluded that the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 quality management system and the the compensation either apart or together are very closely related to the teacher performance in Darul Ulum 2 SMA Unggulan BPPT Jombang.

There are several factors that can influence the performance of lecturer, namely lecturer competence and job satisfaction of lecturer. This study aims to determine: the influence of competence on the performance of lecturers; the influence of job satisfaction on lecturer performance; and the influence of competence and job satisfaction on lecturer’s performance. This research was conducted at The University of KH A Wahab Hasbullah Tambakberas Jombang. The number of samples in this study was determined by using Isac and Michael table with 5% level of sobriety and the technique used was nonprobability covience sampling, so the number of samples in this study was 99 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive correlation between the variables of lecturer competence, job satisfaction and lecturer performance.

Education value and national education both have same functions and goals in shaping a good personality towards students, therefore value education is very important to build the character of the Indonesia people. The aim of this study is to determine the governance model of curriculum development of the value education and development barriers of curriculum of the value education in character building efforts. This research uses descriptive quantitative method, and sampling is taken by census, that is 46 teachers. Data were analyzed using Likert scale and also analyzed descriptively. The results show two conclusions. First, the overall assessment of the scores on the model of curriculum development of the value education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Serang City included in both categories in accordance with the average score of 4.00 and the achievement of maximum score 82. Second, the model of curriculum development of the value education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Serang City is not yet optimal, because there are still some obstacles in developing the curriculum of the value education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Serang City.

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, competence, leadership, work environment and work discipline on teacher performance. After testing, it is concluded that motivation, competence, leadership, work environment have a significant effect on teacher performance. While the work discipline has no significant effect on teacher performance. It is simultaneously known that there is a significant influence between motivation, competence, leadership, work environment and work discipline collectively on teacher performance. Based on statistical test, adjusted R square (R2) is 0,736 or 73,6% indicating that 73,6% change of teacher performance variable can be explained by motivation, competence, leadership, work environment and work discipline, while the rest 26,4% explained by other variables outside the model. The result of 0.736 shows the correlation between the independent variables simultaneously to the employee performance variable has a strong correlation. While in each independent variable affect the performance of teachers are as follows: Y = 1.616 + 0.463 X1 + 0.352 X2 + 0.373 X3 + 0.635 X4 + 0.250 X5, meaning constants. Based on T test, it is found that for competence and performance variables have no effect on teacher performance, and other variables have an effect. For F test obtained the result that together independent variable influence on teacher performance at SMK NU Mojoagung Superior Jombang.

Students of 4th semester majoring in PGMI Unipdu Jombang, were subjected with the tested learning method. The study was conducted in February-June 2018 with experimental method. Students’ performance was assesed through cognitive tests, observation, and interviews. Results of this study indicate that science integrated learning with immersed model to improve students responses. Student responses to science integrated learning with immersed model is positive.

This article aims to describe and explore the internalization of the value of PAI in SD Plus Rahmat Kediri through school strategies and programs as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in realizing religious culture through exemplary and habituation. The approach taken is a qualitative approach through a case study design so that the data is analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/data verification. School strategies and programs as an effort to internalize the value of PAI are carried out in the presence of several programs: 5S; prayer in congregation; memorize short letters and recite the al-Qur’?n using the umm? method; pray when going to start activities and end activities; and exemplary and habitual morality. The role of school people and parents becomes meaningful support for the implementation of this program, obstacles appear in some parents who have different vision and mission of education with the school, teacher assistance that is not optimal in every religious activity and school facilities does not support the development of religious culture efforts are made to make improvements including musala. Therefore, good relations and cooperation between all parties are needed to create an institution that internalizes the values of Islamic religious education.

This research set out of an existing view of Indonesian people that Islamic education has lower interest than public school. This phenomenon reveals question to be answered that why it happened. Perhaps it was caused by the elevation of Islamic education problems such as management crisis. It is common knowledge that Islamic education still uses traditional management. Thus, it inspires the writer to carry out the research about Islamic education management based on KH Muh As’ad’s point of view. It aims to describe Islamic management education paradigm and Islamic leaders thinking on the education; to explain Islamic management education based on KH Muh As’ad Umar Point of view; to prove the superiority Islamic education management of Kh. Muh. As’ad Umar. This research applied qualitative approach with observation method, interview, and documentation such as classical book, journal and Islamic leader opinion. While, the secondary data were article, magazine and writing which discuss about Islamic education management. It applied also empirical approach to specify the research into case study. The case study is an attempt conducted intensively, detailed and in-depth on a particular object. Research results show that organization management of Kiai As’ad held collectively, the rights and obligations are the same but the duties and authority vary according to their field; KH Asad Umar has been acted as innovator, motivator, communicator, and the mover of developing Islamic institution; KH Asad Umar has the ability to communicate and implement the vision well and right and enable to succeed manager role in creating a commitment to the values of Islam in education management. A recommendation from a this research is how educators, Islamic educational institutions headmaster and all education practitioners are able to further enhance the knowledge of Islamic education management, including the management of education based on Islam.

This research aimed at investigating the impact of integrated quality management on education quality at SMA DU 2 BPPT Jombang. To get the result, this research was qualitative and applied field research method. Non-participant method was used to get data for six months. It was also aided supported data and by the result of interview with all participant. Furthermore, validation data used triangulation method. Next the data was observed and interpreted. The result revealed that SMA DU 2 BPPT implemented integrated quality management in term of human resource, curriculum and education facility. It is therefore impact on the increasing of quality which is proved by their70 % alumnae study in grade A state university for three last year. Then, it also increases the satisfaction of the student and also their parent as the customer.

There are still areas, leading and left behind that require a lot of educational touch. Equity is required for access to education so that every citizen who has the same opportunity is educated. Government program ssuch as the SM3T or Bina Daerah program become the chosen strategy. However, it should be supported by the community as a Civil Society. People must also move to develop education.

This research analyzes the goals of national education that have degenerated due to the problems of education that are increasingly complex. Therefore, purification of education goals is very needed to minimize the problems occur. This literature research examines the strands of wisdom of Sufism Ibn ‘A??’ill?h about how to achieve educational goals that emphasize the mystical riy??ah without forgetting ikhtiy?r ??hir. With the hope that educational goals can be achieved and solving educational problems. The main sources of this researching are by Ibn ‘A??’ill?h books relating to educational goals, especially al-?ikam, and other writers who discuss the problems of national education. This research concludes that, the educational goals of Ibn ‘A??’ill?h's perspective are to believe and fear Allah, noble, and do good deeds. There are formulations of educational goals are in three fields, namely individual goals, social goals, and professional goals.

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah is a nonprofit educational institution that is under the auspices of the Al-Misbah Social Foundation. Since 2004 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah has no longer collected school fees from students because they have received school operational assistance funds from the government. Each student get IDR. 800,000.00 from the operational costs that are provided by the government. The purpose of this study is to conduct a further study of the financing of private madrasah education and examine how the headmaster made a strategy in meeting school needs that could not be met by school operational assistance funds. The problems that will be examined in this study are: how to manage education funding in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah Cipadung, Bandung, which is related to financing planning, fund use, supervision and accountability for education funding. To answer that question, the research was conducted with qualitative research methods, a case study approach. The taken case was funding education at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah in Cipadung, Bandung City. Management of financing for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah education includes planning of budgeting; the use of budgeting; budgeting supervision; and finally the accountability reporting stage.

The new policy in “Implementation of New Students” (PPDB) 2018 concerning the zoning system is implemented by the government. Student domicile with distance will be one of the considerations in PPDB. The research objective is to find out how the implementation of the Minister of Education and Culture’s policy on PPDB using the zoning system in Jombang. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This research shows that the implementation of the Minister of Education and Culture’s policy on zoning systems based on zoning systems at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Primary School) and Primary School levels in Jombang runs in accordance with the guidelines of each school due to differences in guidelines for conducting PPDB. The application of this policy has both positive and negative effects that are felt by the school and student guardians. Based on these impacts, the researcher conducted an analysis of the measurement of policy implementation and obtained the results that the implementation of the policy on the zoning system in elementary schools in Jombang went well.

This research is motivated by the learning outcomes of the Madrasah Diniyah (Islamic School) and Non-Madrasah Diniyah students in the Sayyid Abdurrahman Islamic Junior High School (Madrasah Tsanawiyah). The purposes of this study are to find out whether there are differences between students who take part in the Madrasah Diniyah and students who did not take part in the Madrasah Diniyah. The design of this study is included in the type of quantitative research. The type of quantitative research is the method of collecting observation and documentation data. The analysis technique uses the free t test statistical formula. Data analysis using SPSS. The research samples are 54 students. The percentage of students of the Madrasah Diniyah is considered “good” because 89:14% included the 76%-100% category. And the percentage of Non-Madrasah Diniyah students is “quite good” because 75.96% belongs to the 51%-75% category. Thus it can be concluded that there is a comparison between the Madrasah Diniyah students and the Non-Madrasah Diniyah students in the Sayyid Abdurrahman Islamic Junior High School. With the hypothesis that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Teacher had a massive role on producing quality human resource graduates. One of the methods to measure teacher performance is the grade of student’s national exam. In order to make teacher’s performance measured and the quality is guaranteed, therefore we need a method to control the quality one of which is quality management ISO 9001:2015. This research have a purpose to discover the level of quality management system ISO 9001:2015 in SMAN 3 Bandung, to discover the level of teacher performance in SMAN 3 Bandung, find the effect of quality management ISO 9001:2015 on teacher performance in SMAN 3 Bandung. The method that being used to collect the data is questionnaire distribution to all of the teacher at SMAN 3 Bandung in total of 70 people. The data analytic method that being used is descriptive analytic, simple linear regression analytic, and classic assumption test. The result of the data processing showed that teacher’s performance in SMAN 3 Bandung is very good and quality management ISO 9001:2015 is also very good therefore have a great effect in SMAN 3 Bandung.

This article discusses Islamic educational material in the ?ad?th of the Prophet and its relevance to the concepts and systems of modern Islamic education. Referring to the importance of Islamic education in Indonesia, it is necessary to study the materials that must be used as a guide and basis for Islamic education. Islamic education material is the experiences of learning the Islamic religion which are arranged in such a way as to be presented or delivered to students. This study has two objectives, namely knowing and understanding the content of the ?ad?th that discuss educational material; as well as knowing the relevance of Islamic education material to the systems and concepts of modern Islamic education. This article concludes that Islamic education materials recorded in the Prophet’s ?ad?th have relevance to the systems and concepts of modern Islamic education.

Kinerja Pengawas Madrasah Aliyah Swasta di Kota Bandung

The result of superintendent performance at private madrasah aliyah in Bandung city is a legality document of madrasah. The documents include madrasah head documents, teacher documents, student documents and madrasah documents. Superintendent in performing their duties and functions to the madrasah are to monitor the completeness of madrasah administration. The purpose of this study is to find out more about the planning, implementation, performance results, supporting factors and performance inhibitors. This study is a narrative qualitative, with nine participantst that consist of four participants from the superintendent, four participants from the heads of the madrasah, and one participant from the section head of the madrasah. Data were collected through interviews, documentation studies, and observations. Then the data is analyzed by triangulation method.The results of the interviews, observation and documentation study are found that not all madrasah superintendent perform performance planning at the beginning of the academic year. The implementation of superintendent performance is monitoring and nurturing the head of madrasah and teachers through document. The results of the superintendent performance in the madrasah are documents from the completeness of the documents it will be the release of certification money for teachers and head of madrasah, and the liquidity of government aid funds. The inhibiting factor of superintendent performance is the lack of competence of the madrasah head, so the response to the change seems to be slowly accepted. Performance support factors are supervisory work means which are adequate. The control of superintendent performance is still less than the maximum. The lack of working hours and supervision of superintendent performance results need to be more reviewed. superintendent on the superintendent performance has not been a genuine concern from related parties.

Deskripsi Karakter Jujur pada Siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Jambi

This study aims to describe the character of the students, especially the honesty character of the eighth grade students of MTsN 1 Jambi City. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. While the type of research used is the type of survey research with a questionnaire research instrument. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII E and VIII F MTsN 1 Jambi City, with a total of 25 respondents. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis techniques. While the results of the study show that the questionnaire character of honesty of students is classified in the category of “very good.” In class VIII E, there were 16.7% of statements that were answered well by students, and there were 83.3% of statements that were answered very well by students. Whereas in class VIII E, there were 25.9% of statements that were answered well by students, and there were 74.1% of statements that were answered very well by students. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it can be concluded that the students of MTsN 1 Jambi City, especially class VIII E and VIII F, have had a very good attitude in honesty.

This study aimed to obtain information konperehensip the empowerment of teachers and school principals in SMP Al-Irsyad Pemalang. This research is a qualitative descriptive penelitain. Source data is comprised of the principal, senior teachers, chairman of the committee, and students. Data collection procedures performed by observation and in-depth structured interviews, and documentation . Checking the validity of the findings made by the member check, the adequacy ofreference , and triangulate. The results of the following conclusions. Financial planning at the Junior High School Al-Irsyad Pemalang has done well by the ManagementTeam BOS school The planning of financing management in SMP Al-Irsyad Pemalang made during the preparation of Budget Plan School (RAPBS) with a preparationprocess performed by a team that already formed starting with EDS, involving allcomponents of the school in accordance with the instructions. The effectivenessof the financing in the Junior High School Al-Irsyad have are conducted effectivelyby involving teachers and school committees. Supervision of financing in theJunior High School Al-Irsyad conducted by relevant agencies as of the Inspectorateof the center and the regions, from the department.

Education is very important in improving the quality of human resource. The quality of education is a hope and a dream for community. Total Quality Management can improve school performance if it is applied appropriately. This research aimed to find out the programming, implementation programs, and factors affecting the implementation of Total Quality Management. This research employed descriptive method with qualitative approach. Technique of data collection used was interview, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were principal, teachers, and staffs. The results showed that the State Vocational High School Ma’arif 1 Piyungan Bantul refer to the principles of Total Quality Management in programming. The implementation of Total Quality Management involved all school elements. The beneficial implementation of Total Quality Management was to increase teachers’ performance in order to affect students’ achievement and school performance. The factors affecting were motivating factor and inhibiting factor. Motivating factors include a good quality of teachers and principal, an adequate infrastructure, a high level of trust and public interest of parents and school committee. The inhibiting factors include inadequate human resources and the incompatibility of teachers and staff’s performance with Total Quality Management.

The background of the research is the availability of facilities and infrastructure to make all who live in boarding schools feel comfortable so they can carry out teaching and learning activities comfortably in boarding schools. Comfort in teaching and learning really determines the success of the educational process in Islamic boarding schools. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. It was held at the Pondok Pesantren Putra An Nawawi Berjan Purworejo. The data sources of this research are the documentation of the Islamic boarding school in the form of a book on the accountability report of the boarding school administrator of the son of An Nawawi Berjan Purworejo. Data collection method is documentation. Data analysis is done by examining existing data, then reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the son of An Nawawi Islamic boarding school Berjan Purworejo carried out the management of facilities and infrastructure in steps: planning carried out through program planning meetings at the An Nawawi male Islamic boarding school; Procurement was an activity of procuring pesantren facilities and infrastructure according the results of mutual agreement in the planning process; inventory, namely all items belonging to the An Nawawi men's boarding school are neatly inventoryed in the inventory list of goods; Maintenance, namely maintenance of facilities and infrastructure of An Nawawi men's boarding school, is carried out by all people who are in boarding schools. The controlling is carried out by the head of facilities and inscriptions section; The write-off is carried out at the An Nawawi men's boarding school by replacing if possible and removing from the inventory list of goods.

Today the discussion of radicalism is often associated with Muslims. The pesantren as an Islamic educational institution is the foundation of the ummah to spread peace and introduce to Islamic brothers and sisters among the pesantren. This paper intends to offer ideas on efforts to increase the role of pesantren as a stronghold to counter the development of radical understanding and action in their environment. This idea was formulated based on three things: first, the philosophy and tradition of pesantren; second, facts found about the understanding that developed in pesantren and third, the analysis of the stages and factors that can make someone who has a radical understanding can be dragged into radical actions.

This study was aimed to investigate the influence of Creativity Authentic Literacy Learning Model with development to increase student activity in PGMI. Students of 5th semester majoring in PGMI, Unipdu, Jombang, were subjected with the tested learning method. The study was conducted in September-November 2018 with experimental method. Students’ performance was assesed through cognitive tests, observation, and interviews. Results of this study indicate that Science learning with Creativity Authentic Literacy Learning skill of learning to improve students achievement. Overall Creativity Authentic Literacy Learning syntax implemented 100%. Student activity during learning activities show that students learn actively.

This paper is a report from the results of a mini research at Bina Umat IT Junior High School in Yogyakarta which describes the management of Muslim middle class students at Bina Umat IT Middle School. Muslim middle class is a population with routine expenses above 4 million per month. Muslim middle class people are aware that education is very important for their children so that they will try to send their children to superior and quality educational institutions, even though they have to pay higher tuition fees compared to the cost in madrasas or other public schools. Middle class people in this case are parents, hoping that their children will get a good quality education in moral education by being in a favorable intellectual environment. The research method used in this research is a qualitative approach. While the data collection is obtained by observation, interview and documentation, all data are presented in narrative descriptive form. The implementation of the management of Muslim middle class students in IT Bina Umat Middle School includes student recruitment, student grouping, coaching and student development.

This research is motivated by the existence of strategic issues in the field of education in Bandung Barat Regency, including the provision of quality and affordable education to the public has not been fully realized, and the condition of educators has not been arranged for all levels of education. Compared to Al-Azhar Middle School Syifa Budi Parahyangan with the results of “excellent” or very good accreditation. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of strategy management concept in the management of Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Parahyangan Middle School in Bandung Barat Regency. According to Fred R. David. The concept of strategy management is the art and science of formulating, implementing, and evaluating cross-functional decisions that enable organizations to achieve goals. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results showed that: Analysis of strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and Strategy Evaluation at Al-Azhar Middle School Syifa Budi Parahyangan were in accordance with the concept of strategy management. Thus the concept of strategy management can be recommended to be implemented in an organization, both profit organizations or non-profit organizations such as educational organizations.

The purpose of writing articles is to discuss prophetic leadership, prophetic leadership values and internalization in Islamic educational institutions. Prophetic leadership is a leadership paradigm that refers to the concept of leadership of the Prophets. In contrast to conventional leadership theories whose ultimate goal is worldly pursuit, prophetic leadership is leadership in Islam that seeks to restore human nature as khal?fah and ‘abdu-ll?h. The idea of prophetic leadership is intended so that Muslims as the best people can realize the three ideals that become prophetic leadership values, namely humanization, liberation, and transcendence. The capitalist paradigm has trapped the subjects of Islamic educational institutions in materialist goals. Therefore, the process of internalizing prophetic leadership becomes a necessity in the effort to make Islamic educational institutions free from non-ethical behavior. These prophetic leadership values can be internalized either through the learning activities of a subject or subject or through managerial activities within an Islamic educational institution. Internalization requires a common paradigm by leaders, staff, and teachers. It takes an exemplary leader who has theological paradigm so that the process of internalizing prophetic leadership values can really be realized.

Historically, Ulema play an important role in religious-social movement and Islamic education. They have well established social and intellectual basis in maintaining their key position to spread Islam in Indonesia. During Islamic Monarchy throughout pre-colonialism in archipelago, their key positions have been described an elite religious leader and being a part of the ruler at that period. At the beginning, the Dutch as the colonialist, did not interfere on Islamic education system. However, step by step they interfered by giving pressure and confronting on the monarchy power, especially religious social institution. During colonialism period, the growth of religious social institution, therefore has led to the establishing of religious authority. Furthermore, this become institutional basis for the ulema to spread Islam. Moreover, they also have important contributions in religious practice, build up religious social movement, including Islamic education in their regions. During 17 till 19 century, as mecca became the religious spirit in east Hindia, their networking with ulema from Middle East intensively spread the intellectual kernel as well as building Islamic transmission. They use their intellectual to spread the Islam across archipelago.

This paper aims to analyzing the thought of a character (Ibn Rushd) to education, and its relevance to modern education. The research method used in this paper is content analysis. This paper uses a qualitative approach (library research) and then analyzes the sources that have been collected and then provides conclusions related to the material in the paper. The results showed that Ibn Rushd's concept of thinking leads to freedom of thought in developing science in the world of Islamic education without having to be limited to objects, be it exact or metaphysical; there is a compatibility between Ibn Rushd's education using the burh?n? method with modern world education, it can be seen from the development of science in Islamic education.

This research intention to understand the implementation of inclusive education management in instilling the character of responsibility in inclusive classes in SMP Negeri 4 Sidoarjo. Aspects observed in the implementation of character education include learning, example, reinforcement, and habituation. This research is a qualitative study with case study type. Subject research (key informant) was the VII grade PPKn teacher. The research setting took place in class VII of SMP Negeri 4 Sidoarjo. Data collection method used were observation, best interviews and study of documentation. we analyze data steps of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques using triangulation techniques and sources. The results indicate that the VII grade teachers of SMP Negeri 4 Sidoarjo had instilled the values of responsibility character in students in their class through citizenship learning. In the implementation of citizenship learning, the teacher emphasizes the inculcation of the value of the character of responsibility. This is done by the teacher in learning by implanting concepts through explanations, discussing moral issues, stories, active learning, and methods of cooperation between students. Teachers also provide role models in attitudes and actions, give appreciation, provide individual assistance and familiarize students with each other with friends who have special needs, both in the classroom and outside the classroom.

MTs N 1 Kotamobagu menerapkan program home visit sebagai salah satu solusi mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa dan merupakan tindakan preventif mengurangi miskomunikasi antara guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran online dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan ini juga dilakukan untuk mendapatkan keterangan-keterangan atau data yang dibutuhkan dalam memahami lingkungan dan kondisi belajar siswa selama diterapkannya pembelajaran jarak jauh di masa pandemi Covid-19. Dengan demikian, dalam rangka evaluasi tentang efektifitas proses pembelajaran demi meningkatkan pelayanan pendidikan dan pengajaran di MTs N 1 Kotamobagu pada masa Covid-19, mengingat terdapat berbagai fenomena yang dihadapi oleh guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran online dan pelaksanaan program home visit, maka penulis melakukan eksplanasi pedagogik dengan paradigma positivistik pada kebijakan madrasah dalam kegiatan home visit sebagai refleksi kurikulum darurat Covid-19 dengan mengukur tingkat kesiapan guru, respon siswa, materi dan hasil belajar di MTs N 1 Kotamobagu dengan skala pengukuran atau rating scale penelitian kualitatif deskriptif melalui penyebaran angket sebagai penguatan data pada hasil pengamatan dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan home visit membantu guru dalam mendapatkan informasi tentang keluhan siswa dan orang tua selama pembelajaran jarak jauh dimasa pandemi Covid-19, meskipun pada pelaksanaanya home visit terasa kurang maksimal dilakukan karena rasio jumlah guru dan siswa tidak seimbang. Guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Kotamobagu memiliki tingkat kesiapan dengan kategori 80,10% guru siap dalam pelaksanaan home visit dengan respon siswa terhadap program home visit 79,17% siswa merespon dengan baik, sementara materi pelajaran hanya 65% yang tersampaikan dari target yang diharapkan dengan presentase target pencapaian hasil belajar 69%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji mengenai pembentukan karakter santri melalui Panca Jiwa Pondok di Pesantren Darul Muttaqien Parung Bogor. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan dan menggambarkan fenomena yang ada di lapangan berupa fenomena yang bersifat ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan karakter santri di Pondok Pesantren Darul Muttaqien Parung Bogor dilandasi oleh Panca Jiwa Pondok.“Panca berarti lima, jiwa berarti ruh, pondok berarti kelembagaan pesantren.” Lima ruh pesantren yaitu keikhlasan, kesederhanaan, kemandirian, ukhuwwah isl?miyyah dan kebebasan. Sehingga sebagai bagian dari proses pendidikan yang terpadu, maka setiap individu yang ikut memiliki tugas mencapai visi dan misi lembaga Pesantren Darul Muttaqien dituntut untuk mampu memahami nilai dari panca jiwa pondok sebagai sebuah nilai yang dijadikan pijakan dalam berorganisasi baik yang bergerak sebagai pendidik maupun pendukung lainya.

Karya ilmiah ini merupakan hasil kajian pustaka tentang upaya membumikan kesadaran pluralisme melalui pendekatan pendidikan Islam. Seperti yang diketahui bahwa pluralisme adalah realitas yang betul-betul terjadi di sekitar kehidupan kita sehari-hari, baik pada agama, budaya, pendidikan, ras dan suku. Adanya keberagaman tidak lain merupakan bagian dari sunnatull?h. Maksudnya, keberagaman merupakan bagian dari kehendak Tuhan sebagai pencipta manusia dan seluruh makhluk di jagad raya ini. Tentunya, dengan tujuan agar perbedaan diambil sisi positifnya sebagai jalan pemandu untuk bekerja sama, introspeksi diri, dan tolong-menolong. Karena jikalau Allah menghendaki sebuah keseragaman maka niscaya Allah menjadikan umat yang tunggal, satu suku, satu bangsa, satu agama, tetapi pada faktanya tidak demikian. Dalam Alquran, Allah secara tegas menyatakan bahwa sengaja menjadikan kita bermacam-macam agar kita saling mengenal satu sama lain. Dalam konteks ke-Indonesiaan, kesadaran tentang kemajemukan ini perlu dan harus terus dijaga demi keutuhan bangsa dan negara, sebagaimana Rasulullah SAW menjaga keutuhan kota Madinah diatas perbedaan agama, suku, ras dan kabilah.

Supervisi manajerial adalah kegiatan yang mengakomodir kinerja madrasah. Supervisi manajerial secara teknis telah diatur dalam Peraturan Menteri Agama No 2 tahun 2012 dan Permendiknas No 12 Tahun 2007. Tujuan dasar penelitian ini untuk melihat bagaimana persepsi Kepala Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Islam Giwangan terhadap kinerja supervisi manajerial pengawas di kota Yogyakarta yang meliputi program perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Penelitian lapangan (field research) ini berupaya menjelaskan data secara valid dan objektif mengenai persepsi Kepala Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Islam Giwangan terhadap kinerja pengawas kota Yogyakarta. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah kombinasi atau (mix methode) yang sifatnya deskriptif. Metode ini merupakan metode gabungan antara metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sementara model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model concurrent embedded. Data yang dihasilkan bersifat deskriptif yang berupa kata-kata, ungkapan dan pendapat dari subjek penelitian secara lisan. Kemudian data diindeks dan dikategorisasikan menggunakan skala rating lajuan (rating scale). Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja supervisi manajerial dalam perencanaan program pengawas menurut persepsi kepala MI Al Islam Giwangan tergolong kategori sangat baik, sedangkan hasil rata-rata skor dalam perencanaan program supervisi manajerial berjumlah 100,00%; kinerja supervisi manajerial dalam pelaksanaan program pengawas menurut persepsi Kepala Madrasah MI Al Islam Giwangan tergolong kategori sedang, sedangkan hasil rata-rata skor dalam pelaksanaan program supervisi manajerial berjumlah 69,12%; kinerja supervisi manajerial dalam evaluasi program pengawas menurut persepsi kepala madrasah MI Al Islam Giwangan tergolong kategori sedang, sedangkan hasil rata-rata skor dalam evaluasi program supervisi manajerial berjumlah 75,00%.

Relevance of Lesson Plans with the Implementation of Islamic Education Learning in Vocational Schools

Lesson plans are an important thing that must be done before learning takes place. Lesson plans are very important because it can help make timely decisions and provide opportunities for easier control and monitoring in their implementation. This study aims to describe and analyze the relevance of lesson planning and implementation of learning in Islamic religious education subjects. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri I Parepare as a leading vocational school in Parepare. This research approach is descriptive qualitative. Collecting data using interviews, documentation and observation. The results showed that in preparing lesson plans at the SMK Negeri 1 Parepare, the teacher used the syllabus as a reference in making lesson plans. The internal relevance between the components in the lesson plans (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaraan/RPP) is interrelated. The external relevance between the lesson plans of Islamic religious education subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Parepare in the material of Muslim concern for bodies and wisdom and the benefits of organizing corpses is as follows: the material presented in class is relevant to what is in the RPP, time allocation used is relevant to what has been planned in the lesson plan, there are several learning activities process in the classroom that are not relevant to what was planned in the lesson plan, the assessment taken is relevant to what has been planned in the lesson plan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan desain manajemen pendidikan dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Mojokerto. Sampel penelitian adalah 34 siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 5 Kota Mojokerto. Penelitian pengembangan ADDIE dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-Desember 2019 menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes kognitif, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBL dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Mojokerto. Motivasi belajar siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPA menggunakan PBL adalah valid dan positif.

Artikel ini tentang pentingnya motivasi belajar yang berfungsi sebagai usaha dalam pencapaian prestasi. Dalam belajar-mengajar, motivasi merupakan faktor yang sangat penting, karena dengan adanya motivasi dapat menumbuhkan minat belajar peserta didik. Bagi peserta didik yang memiliki motivasi yang kuat akan mempunyai energi untuk melaksanakan kegiatan belajar. Kurangnya motivasi belajar pada pelajaran Akidah Akhlak di MI Malihatul Hikam Lamongan kelas VI mengakibatkan hasil belajarnya yang kurang dari KKM, yaitu mendapat nilai minimal 70,00. Sedangkan dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa kelas I di MI Malihatul Hikam Lamongan bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa 60,00. Jadi hasil belajar siswa kurang berhasil karena antara KKM dan rata-rata lebih rendah rata-ratanya karena masih menggunakan strategi yang konvensional. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang membuat siswa belajar dengan semangat dan lebih bermakna, yakni metode pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan metode Teams Games Tournament untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penulis menerapkan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) dengan model dari Kemmis dan Mc Taggart, yang perangkatnya terdiri atas empat komponen, yaitu planning (perencanaan), acting (tindakan), observing (pengamatan), dan reflecting (refleksi). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Teams Games Tournament bisa meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kelayakan media komik strip dengan tema analisis sunah dan hadis yang dikembangkan berdasarkan kelayakan teoritis, yaitu hasil validasi dosen ahli, dan berdasarkan kelayakan empiris, yaitu responss siswa. Penelitian R & D ini menggunakan model 4-D (4-D models) yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Namun penelitian ini dibatasi sampai pada tahap pengembangan (develop). Tahap define dalam implementasi pembelajaran Alquran Hadis di MA Asy-Syakur menggunakan Kurikulum 13 yang direvisi. Tahap design menghasilkan desain awal komik menjadi sebuah draf awal yang selanjutnya dilakukan pada tahap develop didapatkan hasil validasi oleh 3 dosen ahli. Langkah selanjutnya adalah uji coba terbatas kepada 15 siswa MA Asy-Syakur kelas X. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media komik strip dengan tema analisis sunah dan hadis yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan, di mana hasil persentase kelayakan berdasarkan hasil validasi dari dosen ahli sebesar 82,6 % dan hasil respons yang diberikan siswa sebesar 92,7%.

Menangkal bahaya terorisme akibat dari radikalisme agama tidak dapat diselesaikan hanya melalui jalur hukum, militer, polisi, dan pemerintah, tetapi tetapi juga perlu melibatkan dunia pendidikan. SMK NU Tulungagung juga memiliki peta jalan yang jelas tentang pengajaran Islam moderat dan inklusif sesuai dengan karakter Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jam?‘ah (Aswaja), sekaligus mengandung upaya yang tegas untuk mencegah penyebaran paham radikalisme di kalangan pelajar. Dalam artikel ini penulis mengungkap implementasi pendidikan Aswaja di SMK NU Tulungagung sebagai strategi mencegah pemahman radikalisme siswa. penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. prosedur pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan langkah-langkah, yaitu reduksi data, display (penyajian) data dan kesimpulan. Sedangkan pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi, perpanjangan pengamatan dan ketekunan pengamatan. Implementasi pendidikan Aswaja di SMK NU Tulungagung sebagai strategi pencegahan paham radikalisme siswa di lakukan melalui beberapa program pembelajaran. Pertama, melalui penguatan kemampuan ritual keagamaan Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jam?‘ah. Kedua, melalui pembelajaran nilai-nilai Aswaja, yaitu tas?mu?, taw?zun, tawassu? dan i‘tid?l di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas, dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran aktif siswa. Sedangkan implikasinya adalah mengembangkan pembelajaran Aswaja dan menanamkan nilai-nilai luhur Aswaja kepada para siswa. Sehingga mereka mampu membentengi diri dari pengaruh atau ajakan kelompok radikal.

Keadaan pandemi menjadi hal yang tak pernah diduga oleh masyarakat, sehingga banyak keadaan yang tidak mampu dikondisikan sebab tidak adanya kesiapan baik dari masyarakat maupun dari pemerintah. Hal ini dirasakan bukan hanya pada aspek ekonomi tetapi juga pada aspek pendidikan yang sangat meresahkan masyarakat karena situasi yang belum juga mampu dikondisikan. Sebagai salah satu instansi pendidikan ditingkat perguruan tinggi, Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul ‘Ulum Jombang (Unipdu) turut mendukung pemerintah dalam upaya memutus mata rantai persebaran Covid-19 dengan mematuhi aturan, yaitu memberhentikan sementara pembelajaran tatap muka atau penerapan sistem pembelajaran daring serta membuat kebijakan baru work from home bagi staf dan dosen. Dengan penerapan kebijakan tersebut peneliti melakukan analisis penerapan kebijakan tersebut serta dampak nya terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Dari hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa terdapat beberapa perubahah kebijakan baik bagi mahasiswa, staf, maupun dosen. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa perubahan kebijakan sebelumnya menjadi kebijakan baru selama pandemi tidak berdampak terhadap kinerja pegawai karena seluruh pegawai mampu menjaga komunikasi dan kerja sama yang merupakan budaya para staf dan dosen Unipdu untuk selalu menjaga nilai kekompakan dan kekeluargaan.

This article was written to examine the policy form of the Republic of Indonesia’s Minister of Education and Culture and its development toward the evaluation of Islamic religious education (PAI) learning. This article was written using a qualitative research method with a literature study approach. Data for the literature study were gathered through a process of scrutiny, analysis, and presentation of findings. According to the results of the literature review, the Ministry of Education and Culture’s, Nadiem Makarim, policy is known as the “Freedom of Learning” policy. This policy addresses four issues: national standard school exams (USBN) developed by each school; changes to the national exam (UN) to a minimum competency assessment and character survey; educators’ freedom to design lesson plans (RPP); and flexibility in new student admissions regulations (PPSB). “Merdeka Belajar” is distinguished by its creativity, learning orientation toward problem solving, needs-based learning, and integration into the workplace, as well as a comprehensive assessment system. This has an impact on the need for PAI learning evaluation development. This article concludes that evaluation evaluation is based on the purpose of human birth as ‘abdun and caliph; PAI learning evaluation includes aspects of ‘aqliya, b??iniya, and ‘amaliya; and PAI learning evaluation is carried out to balance the power of thought, dhikr, and charity.

This article seeks to conceptualize the goals of the philosophy of essentialism, namely to form a happy person in the world and the hereafter which includes science, art and all things that can move the human will through character building and the importance of the role of Islamic religious education teachers in shaping the character of students in schools and society.

Pendidikan karakter adalah sebuah proses transformasi nilai-nilai kehidupan untuk ditumbuhkembangkan dalam kepribadian seseorang sehingga menjadi satu dalam tingkah laku seseorang. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan fenomenologi untuk mengungkap fakta manajemen supervisi kepala sekolah dalam membangun pendidikan karakter sekolah di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Iman Ndewel Kecamatan Mbliling Kabupaten Manggarai Barat Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Ada tujuh strategi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah, yaitu: pertama, menanamkan nilai jujur dan cinta tuhan; kedua, menanamkan nilai tanggung jawab; ketiga, menanamkan nilai hormat dan santun; keempat, menanamkan nilai dermawan, tolong menolong dan gotong royong; kelima, percaya diri; keenam, kreatif; dan ketujuh, pekerja keras. Faktor pendukung dalam keberhasilan penanaman nilai karakter MI Nurul Iman Ndewel adalah: kerja sama komponen sekolah; adanya keterbukaan dan responsible; dan bimbingan dan pengarahan.

Pesantren Persatuan Islam 1-2 Bandung is one of the modern pesantren (Islamic school) that combines religious science and general science with the aim of building a generation of tafaqquh fiddin. This goal is highly expected in improving the nation’s increasingly devastated generation. Understanding of religion becomes the main foundation in al-akhl?q al-kar?mah. This research uses qualitative approach with case study method in Pesantren Persatuan Islam 1-2 Bandung. The results of the study illustrate that Pesantren Persatuan Islam 1-2 Bandung has a role as the center of education of the Persatuan Islam (Islamic Unity). Of course this da‘wah activity is also closely related to social activities carried out in the Pesantren Persatuan Islam. This is evidenced by the existence of educational institutions at various levels, social activities through devotion to educators and learners through the PKKJ program, as well as da‘wah activities through ta‘lim, d?‘? and d?‘iyah, coaching, Saturday ta‘l?m, and activities programmed by QAYIM of Pesantren Persatuan Islam. Thus, Pesantren Persatuan Islam 1-2 Bandung has the big role in making Indonesian Muslims into tafaqquh fiddin, in order to strengthen religious understanding that always return to the Qur’?n and Sunnah as guidelines for human life.

Sekolah berperan penting dalam membangun peradaban, karena sekolah merupakan tempat melahirkan generasi penerus yang nantinya akan menghadapi tantangan global. Untuk mewujudkan hal itu, di sekolah terdapat guru yang akan membina generasi penerus tersebut. Hal ini menuntut guru untuk berkompeten dalam pembelajaran. Maka, kepala sekolah sebagai seorang pemimpin berperan dalam pembangunan kompetensi para guru. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: standar kompetensi guru; program kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru; proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dari program kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru; faktor pendukung program kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kajian pustaka dan dalam pengumpulan data peneliti me-review artikel-artikel. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa dalam manajemen kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru, kepala sekolah membuat kebijakan yang diturunkan dalam bentuk program. Program dibuat berdasarkan standar kompetensi yang telah ditetapkan. Program tersebut dilakukan dengan tahapan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Dalam proses pelaksanaan programnya, terdapat berbagai faktor penentu yang akan menjadi pendukung dan penghambat program tersebut.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah MTs Mohamad Hekal Desa Rantau Alai Kecamatan Batang Masumai; kendala yang dihadapi Kepala Sekolah MTs Mohamad Hekal Desa Rantau Alai Kecamatan Batang Masumai dalam peningkatan kinerja tenaga pendidik; upaya Kepala Sekolah MTs Mohamad Hekal Desa Rantau Alai Kecamatan Batang Masumai dalam peningkatan kinerja tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah MTs Mohamad Hekal Desa Rantau Alai termasuk dalam tipe demokratis. Kepala Sekolah selalu meluangkan waktu untuk mengambil bagian dan berpartisipasi dalam setiap kegiatan, dan melakukan musyawarah dengan bawahan dalam mengambil keputusan. Selain itu, ia dengan senang hati menerima kritik, saran dan pendapat dari bawahannya. Kendala kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja staf pengajar adalah kurangnya insentif bagi staf pengajar, berkurangnya keengganan, dan kurangnya disiplin di kalangan pendidik. Upaya yang dilakukan kepala sekolah adalah memberikan motivasi dan penghargaan kerja, tenaga pengajar menyusun RPP dan menguasai materi, melakukan supervisi kelas, dan mengikutsertakan seluruh tenaga pengajar dalam kegiatan pendidikan.

The purpose of this article is to examine the dimensions of transformational leadership in the perspective of the Qur’?n as a form of leadership that is considered the closest to the ideal. This article focuses the discussion on the concept of dimensions in language and terms, the dimensions of transformational leadership in the frame of Bass theory, and the discussion of verses of the Qur’?n containing the substance of the dimensions of transformational leadership. The method used in the writing of this article is the study of literature by collecting relevant literature, then analyzed, compared, and drawn the meeting point line to obtain the integrity of understanding. Furthermore, the results of this article study there are three, namely: first, the word “dimension” has the meaning of size, whether related to many, large, wide, long, width, or height of an object. Object of study, discussion, or object of view. And from the number of dimensions, it can be known an object with one dimension, two dimensions, three dimensions, four dimensions, even multi-dimensional. Second, bass's transformational leadership dimension is four, known as 4I, idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual concideration. Bass’ dimensions can be widely adapted from a variety of approaches and viewpoints of the characters against the background of their respective leadership principles. Third, bass transformational leadership dimension in line with the values prescribed by Allah Almighty in the Qur’?n and the Sunnah of the Prophet (s).

This research aims to determine the effect of spiritual intelligence on the learning discipline of students at Madrasah Diniyyah. After testing, it can be concluded that spiritual intelligence partially has an influence on the learning discipline of students. Meanwhile, spiritual intelligence has a simultaneous influence on the students’ learning discipline. Based on the statistical test, the author got an R squared value of 0.942 or 94.2% which explains that 94.2% of the learning discipline variable transition can be explained by the spiritual intelligence variable, while the remaining 5.8% is explained by other variables outside the model. The score of 0.942 explains that there is a strong and unidirectional relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable simultaneously. Based on the t-test, it was found that spiritual intelligence had no influence on the student’s learning discipline. For the F test, it was found that simultaneously spiritual intelligence had an influence on the learning discipline of students at Madrasah Diniyyah Al Munawwir Krapyak, Yogyakarta.

As a nation that has multicultural thinking and understanding, we have to be steady in accepting various cultures containing humanity values. Thus, it is a proper action to include multicultural insight in the education. Multicultural education is expected to be effective in embedding pluralism, humanism, and democratic values to the students directly. This study aims to find out what kind of strategies used by the teachers of Islamic education in embedding multicultural values in Islamic Junior High School of Al-Huda, Bandung, Tulungagung, which is explicated into three topics of focus, namely how are the multicultural values, how to plan and implement teacher strategies in instilling multicultural values, and how to know the inhibiting and supporting factors which affect the cultivating process of multicultural education values in Islamic Junior High School of Al-Huda, Bandung, Tulungagung. This is a qualitative study using descriptive approach. It uses three data collection methods, namely observation, interview and documentation. The researcher analyses the data through three components: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing (verification). The results of the study indicate that multicultural values embedded are the values of tolerance, mutual cooperation, mutual respect and appreciation, justice, freedom, and value of togetherness and brother-sisterhood; planning and implementation of teacher strategies is multicultural learning, various activities and habituation; the inhibiting factor of cultivation process of multicultural education values are family and culture factors, and the supporting factor are the teachers, students with critical thinking, and support from the school environment.

The Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) is a quality assurance system implemented in schools to achieve and exceed the National Education Standards (SNP). The Covid-19 Pandemic requires the government to issue new policies, especially policies related to education. These new policies certainly have an impact on the implementation of SPMI in schools. This study aims to determine the implementation of the quality assurance system at SMP Islam Brawijaya during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This is a case study that uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and document studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of SPMI in SMP Islam Brawijaya begins with the School Self Evaluation (EDS) process which includes eight standards in the SNP by the School Education Quality Assurance Team (TPMPS); preparation of quality fulfillment plans which are then contained in the Work Plan and Requirements (RKS) and School Activity Plans and Budgets (RKAS); implementation of quality fulfillment, monitoring, and evaluation by TPMPS. However, the Covid-19 Pandemic situation has caused problems experienced by TPMPS in carrying out their duties, so that the implementation of SPMI has not run optimally. The entire series is documented in the form of a quality report card, and it is proven that the results of the quality report card have decreased.
