Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan desain manajemen pendidikan dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Mojokerto. Sampel penelitian adalah 34 siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 5 Kota Mojokerto. Penelitian pengembangan ADDIE dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-Desember 2019 menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes kognitif, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBL dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Mojokerto. Motivasi belajar siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPA menggunakan PBL adalah valid dan positif.
