The sample for this research was 52 people using accidental sampling technique. Statistical analysis used Spearman's rho test. The instrument uses the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire and aneroid blood pressure monitor and stethoscope. This study showed that almost half were in the grade 2 hypertension category with poor sleep quality, 17 respondents (33%). The results of the Spearman's rho test show that there is a relationship between sleep quality and increased blood pressure in hypertensive patients with a value of p = 0.026. The correlation value obtained was 0.308 in a positive direction with low relationship closeness. It is hoped that hypertension sufferers will be able to maintain a healthy lifestyle and maintain good quality sleep so that blood pressure does not increase.

Keywords: Sleep Quality, Blood Pressure, Hypertension
Annisa Nur Nazmi Elly Khoirun Nisa Masroni Masroni Ninis Indriani Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal EDUNursing http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2024-08-01 2024-08-01 8 1 1 10 HUBUNGAN KEAKTIFAN DALAM CLUB PROLANIS DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP LANSIA https://journal.unipdu.ac.id/index.php/edunursing/article/view/4581
Older people with chronic diseases are currently increasing, especially diabetes mellitus (DM) and hypertension. If this chronic disease is not treated properly, it affects the quality of life of the elderly. Quality of life is a very broad concept that can be influenced by an individual's physical condition, psychology, level of independence, and the individual's relationship with the environment. Prolanis is one of the programs carried out to treat this chronic disease which encourages participants with chronic diseases to achieve optimal quality of life. The aim of this research is to find out the relationship between activeness in the prolanis valve and the quality of life of elderly prolanis participants. The design of this research uses analytical surveys, with a case control approach. The total research sample was 60 respondents. The research results showed that all respondents who were less active in prolanis activities had a poor quality of life (100%), while 68% of respondents who were active in prolanis activities had a high quality of life and 32% a low quality of life. The correlation test using spearman Rho obtained a p-value of 0.004 (<0.05) and a correlation coefficient value of (0.475) which can be concluded that the relationship was positive (directional), which means that the better the respondent's physical activity, the higher the respondent's quality of life. Barriers to exclusive breastfeeding in newborns are often caused by breast milk that has not come out and lack of milk production. This is due to reduced stimulation of the hormones prolactin and the hormone oxytocin which play a very important role in producing breast milk. There are various ways to overcome this problem, one of which is with oxytocin massage and lavender aromatherapy. The purpose of this study was to learn more and prove the effectiveness of oxytocin massage and lavender aromatherapy to increase milk production. the research method used is a systematic review. the results obtained were 15 research articles that met the research criteria and stated that there was a significant effect between oxytocin massage and lavender aromatherapy on the smoothness or production of breast milk.

Keywords: Oxytocin Massage; Lavender Aromatherapy; Breast milk production; Postpartum Mother
Ariu Dewi Yanti Indra Yulianti Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal EDUNursing http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2024-08-01 2024-08-01 8 1 19 30 PENGARUH SIMULASI TERHADAP PERILAKU CARE GIVER INFORMAL DALAM MEMBERIKAN BANTUAN HIDUP DASAR https://journal.unipdu.ac.id/index.php/edunursing/article/view/4955
Decreased consciousness is a common problem in the elderly due to cardiac arrest. Quick and appropriate assistance in handling emergency cases through Basic Life Support is very important for the safety of the elderly. The purpose of this research was the Effect of Simulation on the Behavior of Informal Care Givers in Providing Basic Life Support to the Elderly. The population of this research was all informal care givers in the Kedungsari Health Center UPT area, Mojokerto Regency, totaling 85 people. The research sample consisted of 80 informal care givers using purposive sampling. The research design used the Pre Experiment Pre-Post Test One Group Design”. In this research, the Pre-test was in the form of filling out a behavioral questionnaire in providing basic life support. Furthermore, an intervention was given in the form of a basic life support simulation for 2 meetings. After that, a post-test was carried out to fill out the questionnaire. Furthermore, data analysis and the Wilcoxon Rank Test were carried out. The results of the study showed an increase in good behavior after being given a basic life support simulation, namely 71.2%, with behavior in the positive rank of 46 respondents. Providing simulations has been proven to be effective in improving informal caregiver behavior in providing basic life support to the elderly (Pv 0.000 <0.05). It is expected that health workers will use simulation methods as an effective method. Providing basic life support simulations can be further developed through various case studies.

Keywords: Simulation, Informal Care Giver, Basic Life Support, Elderly
Rina Nur Hidayati Ahmad Musadek Faisal Ibnu Umi Azizah Kusumaningrum Copyright (c) 2024 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2024-08-01 2024-08-01 8 1 50 56 ANALISIS FAKTOR DOMINAN YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERILAKU KLIEN HIPERTENSI DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN KEKAMBUHAN https://journal.unipdu.ac.id/index.php/edunursing/article/view/4965
Hypertension is a disease that is most commonly experienced by people and usually appears without any complaints, so many clients do not know that they suffer from hypertension.
