PROSES BERPIKIR SISWA KELAS V DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA PADA POKOK BAHASAN PECAHAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR KHADIJAH SURABAYA

Proses berpikir dalam penelitian ini dikelompokkan menjadi tiga yaitu proses berpikir konseptual, semikonseptual, dan komputasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan proses berpikir siswa kemampuan tinggi, sedang dan rendah dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan metode tes dan wawancara. Tes dan wawancara diberikan untuk mengetahui proses berpikir subjek dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi pecahan. Sedangkan pemilihan subjek penelitian didasarkan pada hasil nilai uji tes 1 dan uji tes 2. Siswa dikelompokkan menjadi 3 kelompok yaitu kelompok atas, tengah, dan bawah. Dari masing-masing kelompok tersebut diambil 3 orang untuk dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses berpikir siswa dari kelompok atas cenderung berpikir konseptual dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita dan siswa dari kelompok tengah dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi pecahan  cenderung pada proses berpikir semikonseptual. Sedangkan proses berpikir siswa dari kelompok bawah dalam menyelesaikan soal soal cerita pada materi pecahan  cenderung pada proses berpikir komputasional

Abstract

The process of thinking in this study are grouped into three conceptual thought process, semikonseptual, and computational. Conceptual way of thinking that is the way of thinking of students in solving a problem using the concepts learned. This way of thinking is a way of thinking semikonseptual students in solving a problem by using the concepts that have been studied, but not fully complete. Meanwhile, computational thinking is a way of thinking of students in solving a problem without using the concepts learned. This study aims to identify and describe the thought processes of students of high ability, medium and low in solving story problems. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using a test and interview. Tests and interviews given to know the process of thinking about the subject in completing the story on the material fractions. While the selection of research subjects based on the value of the test test test 1 and test 2. Students are divided into 3 groups: group top, middle, and bottom. From each group were taken three people to serve as research subjects. The results showed that the students' thinking process of the group tend to think conceptually in solving story problems and students from the middle to finish the story about the material in fractions tend semikonseptual thinking process. While the thought processes of the students in solving the questions about the story on the material fractions tend to think of computational processes
