Analisis Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Siswa dalam Menyelesaikan Masalah Perbandingan Berdasarkan Teori Pirie-Kieren

The aim of the study was to describe the level of development students' conceptual understanding abilities based on the Pirie-Kieren theory using a qualitative approach and descriptive research. The results of the study show that students with low conceptual understanding abilities only meet 2 indicators of conceptual understanding ability, so these students are still at the Image having layer. Students with moderate conceptual understanding are able to fulfill 5 of the 7 indicators conceptual understanding ability, so these students are still in the observing layer. While students with high conceptual understanding abilities have fulfilled all indicators of conceptual understanding ability, only one student is still in the Sturcturing layer and one other student is already in the outermost layer (Inventising).

Happy Math War: Game Edukasi sebagai Media Pembelajaran Peningkat Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis

The purpose of this research is to produce media products for game education (Happy Math War) to improve students’ mathematical connection abilities. This research as potential and problems, data collection, product development, design validation, design revisions, preliminary trials, revisions, wide-scale use trials, and revisions. The research subject were students and mathematics teachers at SMP in Kota Serang. The results of the research obtained showed that the fact of a learning media game education Happy Math War is very valid in terms of media and material, has practical value for teachers, and is very practical from student responses. High media effectiveness with an indicated score-gain of 0,80. Based on these results, the developed learning medium is feasible to use to improve students’ mathematical connection abilities.

Pengembangan LKPD Inquiry Based Learning untuk Mendukung Kemampuan Penalaran dan Pembuktian Matematis

This study aims to develop valid, practical, and effective inquiry-based learning worksheets to support students' mathematical reasoning and proving abilities in the matter of a system of two-variable linear equations (SPLDV). This study adopts the ADDIE development model. Methods of data collection through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII E as the experimental class and students of class VIII B as the control class. The results of the validity assessment obtained a percentage of 85% with the very valid category, the practicality assessment obtained a percentage of 86% with the very practical category, and the effectiveness assessment obtained a percentage of 58% with the category quite effective, and there was a significant difference between students' reasoning abilities and mathematical proving experimental class with control class.

Pengaruh Model Learning Cycle 7E Terhadap Pemahaman Matematis dan Keterampilan Kolaborasi Siswa

Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa pada materi prisma di SMP Argopuro 1 Panti Jember. Metode penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian eksperimen dengan desain quasi experimental design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan uji statistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U dan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi siswa menggunakan uji Independent Sample T-Test.

Penskoran yang Fair pada Tes Matematika Berbentuk Pilihan Ganda Menggunakan Item Response Theory

The scoring of multiple choice test items with the conventional model causes disparities in the interpretation of the scoring results. This causes unfair scoring, because the scoring does not pay attention to the characteristics of the items attached to the test. To overcome this problem, the purpose of writing this article is to apply the IRT model to make scoring more fair, so that multiple choice tests are able to provide a more precise and objective interpretation of scores. The multiple choice test used in this study is a math test on Algebra content of 15 items. The test was piloted on 65 grade 8 junior high school students. This data was used to calibrate test items using IRT. Model fit is determined by the M2 method. The instrument is compatible with the Rasch, 2PL and 3PL models, but only the Rasch and 2PL models used in this article. The number of items that fit in both models is the same as the number of multiple choice test items. Furthermore, the item parameters are used as the basis for scoring. The comparison results show that the IRT model is able to provide a more objective and precise scoring, based on the characteristics possessed by the test items. Model 2 PL is able to provide the most fair scoring than the Rasch and conventional models. The characteristics of the discriminant parameters in the 2PL model make it possible to distinguish students' abilities. especially for students who have the same number of correct answers, but the pattern of answers is different

Pengembangan Buku Ajar Digital Berbasis STEAM-PjBL pada Mata Kuliah Metode Numerik

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pengembangan buku ajar digital berbasis STEAM-PjBL pada mata kuliah metode numerik di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, Universitas Madura. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 3D yang diadaptasi dari model 4D, yaitu: tahap pendefinisan (define), perencanaan (design), dan pengembangan (development). Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari observasi, angket, tes, dan observasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari analisis validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Adapun hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini yaitu buku ajar digital berbasis STEAM-PjBL terbukti dapat membantu dosen mengelola pembelajaran dan memenuhi ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa, serta membangkitkan minat belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan metode numerik.
