Abstract

Abstract: Children with special needs have characteristics that are usually related to the level of functional development. They include the degree of development of fmotor sensors, cognitive knowledge, language skills, skills and social interaction skills. Cognitive science experts agree that the relationship between learning, memory. This research is motivated by the low score of student learning outcomes in English subject.  The implementation of this research was to improve student learning outcomes in English class II subject Hobby material at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Hidayah Plemahan Sumobito Jombang. This study used Classroom Action Research which was carried out in 2 cycles with the Kurt Lewin model.  The subjects of this study were students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Hidayah Plemahan Sumobito Jombang with a total of 24 students. The data analysis technique used was the Flow Model.  Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, tests and documentation.  The pre-cycle stage of the students' average score was 66.1.  The completeness of students is only 10. In the first cycle stage the average student increases to 75. The completeness reaches 16 students in the second cycle stage increases with an average of 84.7 completeness reaches 22 students. The research results show that flashcard media can improve student learning outcomes in subjects 2nd grade English at Madrasah Al Hidayah, the weakening of Sumobito, Jombang.
