Abstract

This research was motivated by the low score of student learning outcomes in Arabic sybject. The implementation of this research was to improve the ability to memorize Arabic vocabulary for grade IV students at MI Tarbiyatul Aulad Gebangmalang Diwek Jombang. Researchers used classroom action research carried out in two cycles with the kemmis & Mc Tagart model. The subjects of this study were 24 students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tarbiyatul Aulad Gebangmalang Diwek Jombang. The data analysis technique used is the Flow Model. The data collection method uses observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The result showed that the index card match method can improve the ability to memorize Arabic vocabulary in class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tarbiyatul Auld Gebangmalang Diwek Jombang. This is evidenced by the results of the pre-cycle stage, the average value of students is 75, only 10 students complete with a percentage of 42 %. Stage cycle I the acerage student score increased to 78,6 completeness to 14 students with a percentage of 58%. Cycle II stage increased to 86,1 completeness increased to 22 students with a percentage of 96%.
