Abstract

The implementation in this research is how to apply the number bag media as an effort to improve first grade learning outcomes in mathematics subjects with compound addition at MI Sabilul Huda Senden Peterongan Jombang. This study used classroom action research which was carried out in two cycles according to Kurt Lewin's model. The research subjects were 23 students of class I. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the flow model. The results showed that the implementation of the number bag media could improve the learning outcomes of class I students at MI Sabilul Huda Senden Peterongan Jombang. It can be explained that at the pre-cycle stage, 5 students completed with an average of 57.8 and the percentage of completeness was 21.7%. At the stage of cycle 1, student learning outcomes increased by an average of 72.8 with a percentage of 65.2% and cycle 2 also increased by an average of 86.9 with a percentage of 91.3%.
