PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN MINI LAB UNTUK MELATIH DASAR – DASAR ENTREPRENEURSHIP PADA SISWA MENENGAH PERTAMA

Pendidikan nasional bertujuan untuk berkembangnya potensi peserta didik agar menjadi manusia yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berakhlak mulia, sehat, berilmu, cakap, kreatif dan mandiri. Untuk membekali hal tersebut, maka tugas pendidik tidak hanya menuangkan sejumlah informasi ke dalam benak siswa, tetapi juga merancang sebuah pembelajaran inovatif yang pada akhirnya membuat peserta didik memiliki berbagai macam kecakapan hidup. Salah satu kecakapan hidup yang harus dimiliki  adalah kecakapan entrepreneurship. Namun kecakapan tersebut tidak diberikan secara langsung melainkan harus bertahap sesuai dengan jenjang pendidikannya. Karena subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa menengah pertama, maka peneliti menggunakan  metode pembelajaran mini lab untuk melatih dasar – dasar entrepreneurship. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendiskripsikan; aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas VII C SMP IPIEMS Surabaya yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar aktivitas siswa dan soal tes evaluasi hasil belajar. Hasil analisi data diperoleh bahwa: 1) secara keseluruhan kegiatan pembelajaran sudah sesuai dengan rancangan, siswa lebih aktif dan tidak pasif, dan 2) hasil belajar siswa, menunjukkan bahwa untuk ketuntasan klasikal kelas adalah 81,25 %, dimana ketuntasan ini lebih besar dari ketuntasan yang diterapkan di sekolah tersebut yaitu 75%.

ABSTRACT

National education aims at developing the potential of learners in order to become a man of faith and fear of God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, skilled, creative and independent. To equip it, then the task of educators is not just pour some of the information into the minds of students, but also to design an innovative learning that ultimately makes the students have a wide range of life skills. One of the skills they must possess the skills of entrepreneurship. But these skills are not given directly but must be phased in accordance with education levels. Because the subjects in this study were junior high students, the researchers used a mini-lab learning methods for basic training - basic entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe; student activities and student learning outcomes during the learning process takes place. The study was carried out descriptive quantitative research, the study subjects VII C grade junior high school students IPIEMS Surabaya, amounting to 32 students. The instrument used is a student activity sheets and learn about the results of evaluation tests. The results of analysis of data obtained that: 1) overall good learning activities, students are more active and not passive, and 2) student learning outcomes, show that for classical completeness of classes is 81.25%, where the completeness is greater than that applied in the thoroughness the school is 75%
