PERANAN RISET UNTUK ENTREPRENUERSHIP DALAM MENGHADAPI PERSAINGAN GLOBAL ( RESEARCH FOR ROLE IN DEALING ENTREPRENUERSHIP GLOBAL COMPETITION )

Riset dikatakan memberi peranan jika digunakan dalam proses produksi untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup  manusia. Untuk dapat digunakan, riset harus dikembangkan dengan mengenali terlebih dahulu pengguna potensialnya. Dalam konteks upaya pencapaian ini ada pengguna primer dan pengguna sekunder. Pengguna primer adalah pengguna yang langsung memamfaatkan riset yang dikembangkan menjadi teknologi untuk menghasilkan produk, sedang Pengguna sekundernya adalah pengguna  pendukung dari pengguna primer. Faktor penyebab pemanfaatan riset sulit dicapai salah satunya adalah karena belum berkontribusi secara efektif. Hal ini terutama disebabkan karena yang dikembangkan belum selaras dengan kebutuhan dan persoalan nyata yang dihadapi para penggunanya, atau karena tidak mempertimbangkan kapasitas adopsi para penggunanya. Tujuannya mengetahui peranan riset untuk entreprenuership sehingga bisa memberi solusi teknologi oleh para pengguna. Saat ini kegiatan para periset dan akademisi lebih banyak dilakukan hanya pada tataran untuk memuaskan rasa keingintahuan dan belum secara cermat dirancang untuk menghasilkan solusi teknologi bagi berbagai permasalahan nasional.

Abstract

Research is said to give a role if used in the production process to improve the quality of human life. To be used, the research should be developed to identify potential users in advance. In the context of efforts to achieve this there are the primary users and secondary users. Primary users are users who directly memamfaatkan research developed a technology to produce products, is the secondary user is a supporter of the user's primary users. Factors causing the utilization of research is difficult to achieve one of which is due not contribute effectively. This is mainly because not developed in line with real needs and problems faced by its users, or because they do not consider the capacity of the adoption of its users. The goal of research to find out the role of entreprenuership that can provide technological solutions by the users. Current activities of the researchers and academics is mostly done only at the level to satisfy his curiosity, and yet carefully designed to produce technology solutions for national problems.
