Pendidikan Hostik Berbasis Life Skills : Kunci Sukses Menghadapi Pasar Tunggal ASEAN 2015

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang kompeten merupakan salahsatu hal yang harus dipersiapkan untuk merebut peluang era pasar tunggal ASEAN 2015. Perombakan kurikulum perlu dilakukan agar dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas dan sesuai tuntutan pasar. Namun dalam kenyataannya masih terdapat ribuan lulusan yang tidak produktif dan menjadi obyek kemajuan. Makalah ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk mereaktualisasi konsep pendidikan dengan harapan agar proses belajar mengajar berkualitas, dimana hal merupakan instrumen yang tepat untuk menghasilkan SDM yang handal diberbagai bidang profesi dan keahlian.Salahsatunya penerapan model pendidikan holistik berbasis life skills, yaitu pendidikan yang mengembangkan seluruh potensi peserta didik dan memberikan arah yang futuritik bagi lulusan sehingga mereka akan mempunyai : 1) kompetensi personal dan interpersonal, 2) kompetensi penguasaan iptek,3) kompetensi produktifitasdan,4) kompetensi penyelesaian masalah. Akhirnya, sistem pendidikan berkualitas yang terjangkau oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat harusdiupayakan sehingga akan melahirkan tenaga-tenaga terampil yang siap merebut peluang pasar dan mampu bersaing dengan negara-negara ASEAN lainnya.

ABSTRACT

The competent human resourceis a thing that have prepared to arrogate a chance ofASEAN Community  2015.Renovation curriculum have done to produce a qualified graduates and marketable.However, practically there are thousands non-productive graduates and become object of advancement of era. The aim of this paper is to reactualization of education concept in order to qualify teaching and learning proccess that it is a exactly instrument to prepare availability the excellent human resource in various professions and skills. One of it is application of holistic education based life skills, that develops the whole student’s potentials and shows futuristic way to the graduates so they will have : 1) personal and interpersonal competence, 2) information and technology mastery competence, 3) productivity competence, 4) problem solving competence. Finally, The qualified education system that it can be reached by all level of societyhave seek so it will product the experts output who are prepared to arrogate a chance and to run against the other ASEAN countries.
