Abstract

The application of this learning method is to increase the value of learning outcomes for memorizing abilities. This research was carried out because students found it difficult to memorize the prayer readings on the fardhu prayer material, students also often carried out activities outside of learning by chatting with their seatmates. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles according to Kurt Lewin's model. The data analysis technique used is the flow model. Data collection methods used are tests, observations, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were students of class III MI Sunan Gunung Jati Katemas Kudu Jombang, totaling 16 students. Fiqh learning outcomes can be seen from the overall average, namely at the pre-cycle of 64, cycle 1 to 78, and in cycle 2 it rose to 96. And the results of memorization ability in the pre-cycle got an average of 2.27, cycle 1 got 2 .70, and cycle 2 gets 3.82. The results of this study state that the demonstration method and learning drill are classified as good with the average significantly increasing.
