Abstract

This research is motivated by the low value of student learning outcomes in social studies subjects. The implementation of this research was to improve student learning outcomes in social studies class 4 subject matter of natural resources at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Ulum II Bendungrejo Jogoroto Jombang. Researchers used classroom action research carried out in 2 cycles with the Kurt Lewin model. The subjects of this study were students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Ulum II Bendungrejo Jogoroto Jombang totaling 27 students. The data analysis technique used is the Flow model. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The pre-cycle stage of the average student score was 66.11, only 13 students completeness. Stage I cycle the average value of students increased to 75.37 completeness reached 20 students. Cycle II stage increased with an average of 88.5 completeness reaching 27 students with a classical completeness percentage of 100%. The results showed that the team quiz method and diorama media could improve social studies learning outcomes in grade 4 at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Ulum II Bendungrejo Jogoroto Jombang.
