Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka is a new learning that has not been widely implemented in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), but some MI have implemented it, such as in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 4 Jombang. For that, this study aimed to evaluate the success of implementing Kurikulum Merdeka of IPAS subject  in grade IV. To evaluate, it was used Stufflebeam's CIPP model evaluation. This study collected data using observation, interview, and documentation methods, and analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. As a result, the context evaluation found Kurikulum Merdeka matched with the needs and goals of MIN 4 Jombang. Input evaluation found that resources such as teaching modules, textbooks, educational videos, and learning technology used were adequate to support effective learning. Process evaluation, learning implementation went well thanks to careful planning, adequate resource support, and interactive learning methods. Product evaluation indicated an increase in students' active participation, discipline, and responsibility during the learning process.
