Analisa Formasi Tim Sepakbola Menggunakan Triangulasi Delaunay & Algoritma Clustering

Sepak bola merupakan permainan tim, sehingga keberadaan formasi pemain sangat mutlak dibutuhkan selama pertandingan. Hal ini sangat penting untuk menerapkan taktik dan strategi menyerang maupun bertahan secara efektif. Analisis permainan membutuhkan model kuantitatif untuk memperoleh karakter dan strategi dari sebuat tim sepak bola. Dalam penelitian ini, dikembangkan algoritma untuk analisa formasi permainan tim nasional Indonesia berdasarkan metode triangulasi Delaunay dan algoritma clustering. Triangulasi yang digunakan untuk mendefinisikan pembentukan tim sebagai matiks ketetanggan triangulasi Delaunay. Formasi pemain bisa diketahui dari peta panas (hot map) pemain selama pertandingan berlangsung, dalam formasi yang umum digunakan, yakni: 4-4-2, 3-5-2, 3-4-3, dll. Selanjutnya, dengan menggunakan clustering hierarki, setiap formasi diklasifikasikan dan dibagi menjadi pola cluster yang lebih spesifik, dimana konfigurasi pemainnya berbeda. Tantangan dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan visualisasi berupa perbandingan kuatitatif dan analisa deret waktu untuk formasi yang dinamis, serta focus pada transisi antar cluster pada setiap hierarki. Hal ini dibutuhkan untuk melakukan ekstraksi gaya tim dari beberapa pertandingan mengenai pertukaran posisi pemain di dalam formasi yang dinamis. Kemudian dilakukan profilisasi tiap cluster, untuk mengetahui karakteristik dari masing-masing cluster pada situasi pertandingan. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah algoritma clustering bisa digunakan untuk mengnalisa strategi bertanding sebuah tim sepakbola, berdasarkan formasi yang digunakan.
