ANALISIS SENTIMEN PERSPEKTIF KONSUMSI ROKOK TEMBAKAU DAN ROKOK ELEKTRIK DI MEDIA SOSIAL X MENGGUNAKAN METODE DECISION TREE

Abstract
Kebiasaan merokok, baik rokok tembakau maupun rokok elektrik, telah menjadi isu sosial yang signifikan di Indonesia, dengan
meningkatnya perdebatan publik di media sosial mengenai risiko kesehatan masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
menganalisis sentimen masyarakat terhadap konsumsi kedua jenis rokok tersebut di platform media sosial X dengan menggunakan metode klasifikasi Decision Tree. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana perbedaan sentimen publik terhadap rokok tembakau dan rokok elektrik serta bagaimana efektivitas metode Decision Tree dalam klasifikasi opini publik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data diperoleh melalui teknik crawling terhadap lebih dari 2.000 tweet yang mengandung kata kunci terkait. Data diproses melalui tahapan preprocessing, pelabelan berbasis leksikon, pembobotan TF-IDF, dan klasifikasi menggunakan algoritma Decision Tree CART. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sentimen negatif mendominasi untuk kedua jenis rokok, dengan akurasi model mencapai 87,50% untuk rokok tembakau dan 80,60% untuk rokok elektrik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa algoritma Decision Tree efektif digunakan dalam menganalisis opini publik berbasis teks, serta mampu memberikan hasil klasifikasi yang interpretatif. Penelitian ini bermanfaat dalam mendukung perumusan kebijakan publik dan kampanye kesehatan berbasis data, serta memperkaya kajian analisis sentimen pada isu-isu sosial.
