Abstract

The singing method and the drawing stick media are methods and media used by researchers to focus student learning. With the aim of increasing the ability to memorize Arabic vocabulary for the Ar-riyadhoh material for grade 3 students. The problem in this study is that students find it difficult to memorize Arabic vocabulary and students often carry out activities outside of learning by chatting with their classmates. This study used classroom action research which was carried out in two cycles according to Kurt Lewin's model. The dependent variable in this study was to improve the results of students' vocabulary memorization with the subject of 18 3rd grade students at MI Thoriqul Huda Catakgayam Mojowarno. Data collection techniques in this study used written tests, practical tests, observations, interviews. The results of the memorization ability in the pre-cycle got an average of 1.17, cycle 1 got 2.17, and cycle 2 got an average of 2.89. So that through the singing method and stick media the learning images are classified as good with the average significantly increasing
