Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject of writing fictional stories using the exploration method. After conducting a simulation of improving learning using the exploration method, students' learning outcomes increased in this study. Data were collected based on online learning outcome tests. Data obtained from 30 students showed that using the exploration method could improve learning outcomes in grade IV students. The results of the study showed an increase in learning outcomes. This can be seen from cycle 1 reaching 60% and cycle 2 reaching 95%, so the description of the data collected can be concluded that the use of the exploration method can improve students' learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject of writing fictional stories in grade IV. Thus, the exploration method is one of the effective methods in improving students' learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject of writing fictional stories.
