Abstract

Media Kolah Kaligi functions as a teacher’s guide in delivering learning material and makes it easier for students to understand material about multiplication and division. This research is a Research and Development study by carrying out media development and validity testing on experts. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. Media implementation was carried out on class II MI students by analyzing the effectiveness of using the Kolah Kaligi media in learning Mathematics. The validity test was carried out by three validators, the first validator with a percentage of 97% in the “very valid” category, the second calidatoe with a percentage of 91% in the “very valid” category, while the third validator with a percentage of 86% in the “very valid” category. Based on the results of trial I and trial II, it can be concluded that the Kolah Kaligi media is valid and effective in increasing the learning motivation of class II MI students in multiplication and division as evidenced by the NGain value of 0,72 in the “high” category. The assessment of student responses with a percentage of 88,72% was in the “very positive” category.
