1. Open Access Commitment
Register: Jurnal Ilmiah Teknologi Informasi operates under a full open-access publishing model to ensure unrestricted and permanent access to scholarly research. To support the sustainability of a high-quality editorial and publication process—including rigorous peer review management, professional copyediting, DOI registration, digital archiving, and secure online hosting—an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to manuscripts that have been formally accepted for publication.
2. General Principles

No submission fee is charged at any stage prior to editorial acceptance.

The APC is payable only after the manuscript has successfully completed the peer review process and received official acceptance for publication.

All fees are denominated in United States Dollars (USD).
3. Standard APC Structure (Regular Track)
For manuscripts submitted on or after Juli 1, 2026, the APC is determined based on the institutional affiliations listed in the final accepted manuscript.
APC: USD 500
4. Fast Track Service (Expedited Editorial Processing)
An optional Fast Track service is available for authors requiring an accelerated editorial decision for academic or administrative purposes (e.g., graduation requirements, grant reporting, or academic promotion).
Additional Fee: USD 750 (separate from the applicable Standard APC).
4.1 Submission Requirements
To request Fast Track processing, authors must comply with the following procedure:

During submission (OJS Step 1 – Start), authors must enter:
“FAST TRACK REQUEST” in the “Comments for the Editor” field. -
Immediately transfer the Fast Track fee to the journal’s official bank account.

Upload proof of payment via the “Pre-Review Discussions” section in OJS using the following format:

Message:
“Attached is the payment proof. Kindly confirm via WhatsApp at: +62 856-5577-7547.”

Providing a WhatsApp number ensures communication continuity in case email notifications are delayed or filtered.
4.2 Service Guarantees

A first-round editorial decision (Accepted, Revision Required, or Rejected) will be issued within 5–10 working days after confirmation of payment.

The manuscript will receive priority administrative handling and expedited reviewer assignment.
4.3 Conditions and Limitations

The Fast Track service does not guarantee acceptance.

Peer review standards remain identical to those applied under the Regular Track.

The Fast Track fee is non-refundable if the manuscript is rejected based on scientific merit following peer review.

If the journal fails to issue a first decision within 10 working days, the Fast Track fee will be fully refunded.
If a manuscript is desk-rejected due to being outside the journal’s scope, the Fast Track fee will be refunded within 1–5 working days.
