Article Processing Charges (APC)

JMPM: Jurnal Matematika dan Pendidikan Matematika is committed to maintaining open access to all published content, ensuring that research is freely available to the global academic community. To support this open-access model, we charge an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs associated with the publication process.

APC Amount
The APC for publishing an article in JMPM: Jurnal Matematika dan Pendidikan Matematika is IDR 600.000. This fee applies to all accepted articles and covers the costs of:
- Peer review administration and management
- Professional production of articles in PDF and other formats
- Hosting the articles on dedicated servers.

Fast Track Publication Option
We are pleased to offer a Fast Track option, featuring an expedited review process:
- Review Time: 3-5 days
- Author Revision Time: Maximum 3 days
- Editing Time: 1 week
- Article Processing Charge (APC): IDR 1,200,000

Submission Requirements:
- A similarity report with a maximum similarity index of 20%
- The article must demonstrate novelty and make a significant contribution to theory or practice in the field of Mathematics Education
- References must be relevant, up-to-date (preferably from the last 10 years), and include citations from reputable journals

Fast Track Submission Procedure:
1. Contact the Editor-in-Chief to express your interest in the Fast Track option.
2. Submit your article, ensuring it adheres to the journal template, includes the Submission Declaration Statement, and is accompanied by a similarity test result (max 20%).
3. The Letter of Acceptance (LoA) will only be issued after the author has completed the required revision.
4. Before proceeding to the review process, the editor will evaluate the initial submission and inform the author whether the article qualifies for the Fast Track option, based on its quality.

Waiver Policy
To support researchers who may not have access to funding, JMPM: Jurnal Matematika dan Pendidikan Matematika offers APC waivers. We do not want financial barriers to prevent the publication of high-quality research

Eligibility for Waivers
Authors can request an APC waiver based on the following criteria:
- Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries as classified by the World Bank
- Authors with demonstrated financial hardship
- Early career researchers or students without access to research funding

How to Apply for a Waiver
Authors wishing to apply for an APC waiver should follow these steps:
1. Submission of Waiver Request: Submit a waiver request at the time of manuscript submission. The request should include a brief explanation of the reasons for requesting the waiver.
2. Review of Waiver Request: The editorial team will review the waiver request. Decisions are based on the information provided and the criteria outlined above.
3. Notification: Authors will be notified of the waiver decision within 7-14 business days after submission of the waiver request.

Important Notes
The decision to grant a waiver does not affect the editorial process. All manuscripts are evaluated based on their academic merit, regardless of waiver status.
