JMPM is an international research journal that seeks innovation, creativity, and novelty in mathematics and mathematics education. The journal publishes only original research articles presenting empirical findings or theoretical advancements.
JMPM aims to achieve state-of-the-art progress in theory, practice, and application within its field. It provides a platform for academics and researchers from Indonesia and around the world to promote, share, and discuss new issues and developments in mathematics and mathematics education.
Since December 2017, the journal has been ACCREDITATED with grade "SINTA 4" by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (RistekDikti) of The Republic of Indonesia.
Since January 2021, the journal has been ACCREDITATED with grade "SINTA 3" by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (RistekDikti) of The Republic of Indonesia. The recognition published in Director Decree B/1796/E5.2/KI.02.00/2020 December 30 2020 effective until 2023. The journal certificate can be downloaded here.
JMPM has been ACCREDITATED with grade "SINTA 3" from Volume 7 (1) 2022 until Volume 11 (2) 2026. The recognition published in Decree of Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset, dan Teknologi No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025. The journal certificate can be downloaded here.

Vol. 10 No. 2 (2025): September 2025 - February 2026
This issue of JMPM: Jurnal Matematika dan Pendidikan Matematika (Vol. 10 No. 2, September 2025 – February 2026) presents eight articles covering key themes in mathematics education research, including the development of instructional materials and learning media, the integration of technology into mathematics teaching, ethnomathematics, analyses of students’ numeracy competencies, and studies on students’ and pre-service teachers’ difficulties in solving mathematical problems. This issue features authors from various higher education institutions across Indonesia—such as Sanata Dharma University, La Tansa Mashiro University, the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, PGRI Madiun University, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, Surabaya State University, Antasari State Islamic University of Banjarmasin, and Pattimura University—as well as an international collaboration with a researcher from the Autonomous University of Yucatan, Mexico, collectively enriching the discourse in mathematics and mathematics education research.
