    This issue of JMPM: Jurnal Matematika dan Pendidikan Matematika (Vol. 10 No. 1, March–August 2025) publishes eight articles covering a broad range of topics in mathematics and mathematics education. The studies include analyses of students’ misconceptions in algebra, the use of multiplication cards and GeoGebra-assisted e-modules, the application of learning models such as project-based learning, problem-based learning, and CORE models, as well as mathematical modeling using neural networks and grey system approaches, and the exact solution of the three-dimensional Burgers equation.

    The authors come from diverse institutions across Indonesia and abroad, reflecting the heterogeneity of contributions. Among them are Universitas Musamus, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Najmah Education Center, STKIP YPUP Makassar, SMPN 6 Bangkala Barat, Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Fatah Palembang, Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia, IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo, and Universitas Brawijaya.

    Vol. 9 No. 2 (2024)

    This issue of JMPM: Jurnal Matematika dan Pendidikan Matematika (Vol. 9 No. 2, September 2024 – February 2025) presents eight articles that explore diverse themes in mathematics education and related fields. The studies examine students’ conjecture construction assisted by GeoGebra, prospective teachers’ computational thinking in solving quadratic problems, and the development of a STEAM-based teaching module with robotics to foster 4C skills. Several articles focus on misconceptions and errors in algebraic expressions, including analyses through assimilation–accommodation frameworks and translation errors in numeracy. Other contributions discuss the relationship between mathematical connection and problem-solving abilities among maritime cadets, innovations in creative writing skills for mathematics textbooks using design thinking, and further investigations into students’ difficulties in algebra.

    The articles are authored by researchers from various Indonesian universities and institutions, including Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Universitas Sanata Dharma, Universitas Islam Malang, Universitas PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang, Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya, Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang, and Universitas Tadulako. This diversity of affiliations illustrates the breadth of scholarly engagement and enriches the perspectives presented in the issue.

    This issue of JMPM: Jurnal Matematika dan Pendidikan Matematika (Vol. 9 No. 1, March–August 2024) features seven articles that explore topics in mathematics, applied mathematics, and mathematics education. The contributions range from sentiment analysis using Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms on social media data, to investigations of students’ critical thinking skills in problem solving, and the development of interactive digital learning materials. Other studies discuss the application of scaffolding based on the SOLO taxonomy, microteaching models for improving TPACK in teacher education, and the integration of STEM approaches with digital platforms to enhance mathematical problem-solving. The issue also includes a pure mathematics article on the chromatic number of palm graph combinations.

    The articles are authored by researchers from various Indonesian institutions, reflecting the diversity of scholarship in this issue. Contributing institutions include Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya, Universitas PGRI Madiun, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah, Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi, Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara, and Universitas Andalas. This variety of affiliations demonstrates the wide engagement of Indonesian academics in advancing research in mathematics and mathematics education.
