Vol. 9 No. 1 (2024): March - August 2024
This issue of JMPM: Jurnal Matematika dan Pendidikan Matematika (Vol. 9 No. 1, March–August 2024) features seven articles that explore topics in mathematics, applied mathematics, and mathematics education. The contributions range from sentiment analysis using Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms on social media data, to investigations of students’ critical thinking skills in problem solving, and the development of interactive digital learning materials. Other studies discuss the application of scaffolding based on the SOLO taxonomy, microteaching models for improving TPACK in teacher education, and the integration of STEM approaches with digital platforms to enhance mathematical problem-solving. The issue also includes a pure mathematics article on the chromatic number of palm graph combinations.
The articles are authored by researchers from various Indonesian institutions, reflecting the diversity of scholarship in this issue. Contributing institutions include Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya, Universitas PGRI Madiun, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah, Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi, Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara, and Universitas Andalas. This variety of affiliations demonstrates the wide engagement of Indonesian academics in advancing research in mathematics and mathematics education.
