This issue of JMPM: Jurnal Matematika dan Pendidikan Matematika (Vol. 11 No. 1, March–August 2026) presents eight articles covering key themes in mathematics and mathematics education research, including mathematical analysis, teacher noticing and self-efficacy, innovative approaches to mathematics learning, the integration of artificial intelligence into mathematics assessment, factors associated with mathematics learning achievement, innovative instructional design and differentiated learning, and mathematical literacy and problem-solving. This issue features authors affiliated with several higher education institutions in Indonesia, including Universitas Negeri Malang, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Universitas Negeri Makassar, Universitas PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang, Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum (Unipdu), and Universitas Islam Darul ‘Ulum Lamongan. It also includes international contributions from researchers affiliated with Olabisi Onabanjo University and Tai Solarin University of Education, Nigeria. Collectively, these contributions enrich the discourse on mathematical theory, innovative mathematics teaching and assessment, teacher self-efficacy, and the development of students’ mathematical understanding, literacy, and problem-solving abilities across diverse educational contexts.
